In the new movie, Andi Matichak plays Laurie’s granddaughter, while Jamie Lee Curtis plays her grandmother. Now that she’s settled into her new life and is beginning to heal from the loss of her daughter, Laurie is working on a memoir chronicling her decades-long battle against Michael Myers. Laurie appears to have overcome her paranoia and dread after a long period of effort and is now willing to fully participate in life. Laurie’s delicate serenity is shattered, however, when the babysitter she hired, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is suspected of murder.
This event will set in motion a chain reaction of terror that will ultimately lead Laurie face to face with the embodiment of evil. John Carpenter, a legend in his own right, directed the original Halloween and composed the score, which has become a staple of Halloween soundtracks. Carpenter composed new music for the next film.
David Gordon Green helms the final Halloween film. Beginning on October 14, Halloween Ends will be playing in cinemas and in IMAX for a total of one week. The climax of Laurie Strode’s battle against the mask-wearing killer will be brought to life in IMAX, giving audiences a truly unforgettable experience.
