Recap of Episode 23
Ep. 23 of Kingdom Season 4 was titled “Reversal Rush.” The episode picked up just where the last one left off, with the ongoing conflict between China’s northern and southern regions. All of the country’s territory hung in the balance, and the fighting was fierce. Duke Juuteki was fighting against Shou Hei Kun’s army. And there was no denying the reality that there just weren’t enough soldiers in this army to keep the land safe.
By this logic, the dukes should be winning the war. The Dukes did figure out a way to get past the defences in the episode’s second half. Shou Hei Kun, on the other hand, was betting on an undiscovered strategy. The programme ended without revealing who emerged victorious from the last territorial skirmish. But the uprising will surely be put down in the series finale.
