The 188th chapter of Blue Lock, titled “Vortex,” will analyse the conclusion of the game between England Manshine and Bastard Munchen. The score will be 2-1 going into the second half. Agi will see that Isagi is playing at a whole other level and has made significant improvements to his game. When Kaiser approaches to give Isagi a pointer on where to score the goal, he will have the ball at his feet. Yet, Nagi appears and takes the ball away. At the end of Chapter 188 of Blue Lock, Nagi took an unexpected turn. Rather than shoot, he gave the ball to Reo so that he could score. At the end of the chapter, Reo will invite him to their favourite hangout.

In the opening moments of Blue Lock Chapter 187, Reo visited Nagi to provide comfort after the latter had experienced disappointment. He implied that he might be able to assist in the following round. Nagi said that he had been trying anything he could to figure out a way to win. In the face of Isagi’s ever-shifting strategies, however, nothing worked.
Nagi then convinced Reo that they could beat Isagi if they worked together. Reo couldn’t stop thinking about how pitiful Nagi’s behaviour had been. He was sceptical but nonetheless interested in trying out the strategy at least once. In the second half of the chapter: Isago threatens to end Kunigami’s life for what he’s done. Given that everything he cares about is on the line, Isagi decides to grab the reins.
