Black Clover chapter 338 spoilers
The Black Bulls, still not certain that Asta was dead, set out to find him in the previous chapter. Asta recovered fully and awoke in Hino territory. Ryuya Ryudo, the country’s Shogun, claimed to be Yami’s, old pal. Asta was asked to train in Hino Country when the Shogun learned about the events in Clover.
This post contains a spoiler for Chapter 338 of Black Clover
At the start of this chapter, Asta is anxious about going back to her own house. Ryuya shows him around the palace and reassures him that Lucius has no plans to act anytime soon. Additionally, he tells Asta that the Shogun of Hino Country was analogous to the Wizard King of Clover. The protagonist then encounters a regional delicacy that brings to recall Hage and Sister Lily. While in the market, a small group of bandits suddenly attack, prompting Ryuuya to herd the villagers to safety and prompting Asta to wonder whether he had a crystal ball. In response to the bandits’ criticism that the Shogun is weak, Asta remarks that he senses no power in the Shogun’s Ki.
When the guard lady steps in to defend Ryuuya, he is forced to declare that he has no magic. Shocking Asta with her powerful Ki, the woman performs an unfamiliar spell to subjugate the villains. The shogun dubs her Ichika, while commoners celebrate her as the pioneering spirit behind the legendary seven dragons (roughly translated from the raw scans). They also refer to her as mistress Yami or Yami-Dono. The Shogun has just revealed that Yami Ichika is actually the younger sister of Captain Yami Sukehiro. Asta can gain superpowers by studying with Ichika and the seven dragons. However, the young lady is somewhat doubtful, and she states emphatically that although Ryuya may be on the foreigner’s side, she does not like individuals like him.
Speculations
Black Clover chapter 338, as revealed through spoilers, features the debut of a new power system by mangaka Tabata. In Hino Country, scrolls, not grimoires, are the primary tool of magic. You won’t hear them referring to their abilities as “Magic” (Maho) or “Wizardry” (Yojutsu). We can only hope that the official translation will include the correct name for this new force, as well as further information on the Seven Dragons. Yami has a younger sister named Ichika, and this suggests two things. To begin, the Yami family is probably rather important in Hino Country. Second, Yami’s dark magic is not as unusual as it may appear in Clover; tremendous magical abilities tend to run in families.
Ichika employs a style of Sorcery that draws from other martial arts traditions. No one knows if that’s the norm in the nation or if it’s just her personal Sorcery. It came as a surprise to several readers that “Yami” is Captain Yami’s family name. His name, Yama Sukehiro, is typically written with the given name following the surname, as is common in East Asia. His sister’s name is Ichika Yami, whereas he is Sukehiro Yami, both in a western manner. Black Clover chapter 338 spoilers don’t reveal whether or not Ryuya has access to a unique form of magic comparable to Asta’s anti-magic. Tabata has provided Asta inspiration and comfort by presenting a character who has accomplished their goals without the use of magic. Even though the Seven Dragons will most likely take over Asta’s training, Ryuya will still be an important role model and guide for the young kid.
