Raw scans and spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 366
In the last chapter, Edgeshot began internal repairs on Bakugo’s organs by transforming his body into tiny threads like surgical sutures. Shigaraki began attacking Mirko and the others because he was angry that the heroes were trying to save the youngster while nobody had assisted Tenko Shimura. After realising that Bakugo’s attack had caused him some physical harm, he took revenge by fashioning fleshy representations of his late relatives. My Hero Academia chapter 366 will supposedly be called “Peaches,” at least according to the spoilers.

From what we can gather from the preview, the chapter opens with the narrator describing how Shigaraki’s bioengineered body would perpetually strive to achieve its optimal state. In order to deal with the physical harm and the emotional upheaval, he fashions the likenesses of his loved ones (the ones he created out of his own flesh) into hands, just like the ones he used to wear, only they serve more as armour. Shigaraki does a Smash on Mirko, knocking her out. He immediately launches an assault on Mirio, warning him that, in his current condition, he is no match for Shigaraki. The antagonist effortlessly overcomes the Big 3 and destroys the prison that Best Jeanist constructs for him.
Mirio is starting to have doubts about whether or not Sir Nighteye’s prediction would come true. Mandalay suddenly begins broadcasting a message, pleading with the heroes to release Shigaraki for two seconds in exchange for lowering the barrier around U.A. The heroes are in a dire situation, and two seconds is too long to wait. Mirio recalls his mentor’s advice that laughter is vital to success in the future, so he does something ridiculous to make Shigaraki laugh. Right on cue, American jets land at U.A., and Deku does a dropkick Smash on Shigaraki.
Speculations
Although spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 366 prevent us from knowing Shigaraki’s precise physical appearance, we do know that he will continue to change and improve in some way. His body can adjust to any situation and find a workaround for every difficulty. Bakugo probably found out early that the only way to beat Shigaraki is to assault him quicker than he can adjust. If Sir Nighteye’s prediction of the future comes true, only Midoriya, so the saying goes. Readers were becoming impatient with Horikoshi for prolonging the inevitable advent of Deku. If the rumours are true, his arrival will be spectacular and well worth the anticipation.
Deku’s sightings of mysterious aircraft in chapter 357 appear to have been the American planes that accompanied Star and Stripe, as had been hypothesised. It appears that the pilots stuck behind Agpar and Star and kept aiding the Japanese heroes despite protestations from the American president. Spoilers for Chapter 366 of My Hero Academia don’t reveal anything about Bakugo or Edgeshot, simply that Best Jeanist is guarding their bodies. Deku’s response to seeing Bakugo in his current state is crucial, whether or not he has been informed of the events and Edgeshot’s subsequent effort to resuscitate the youngster. Hopefully, this will be clarified in the official translation.
