Synopsis
Short-statured Shouyou Hinata was motivated to revive his school’s volleyball club after watching a volleyball prodigy dubbed “Little Giant,” resurrect the team. His newly created squad was given the opportunity to participate in the competition. Despite their best efforts, they were soundly beaten by Tobio Kageyama, popularly known as the King of the Court. With this resolve, Hinata swears to himself that he will destroy Kageyama no matter what it takes. After finishing eighth grade, he applies to and is accepted to Karasuno High School, where he plays on the school’s varsity volleyball team. His opponent Kageyama, however, turns out to be a comrade.
