Halo: The Complete First Season Will Be Available on 4K Ultra HD Steelbook in November

Season one of Halo will be released in 4K UHD Steelbook format. The whole nine episodes of the show, together with hours of extra content documenting the making of the show, will be included in the five-disc set. The special features reveal an analysis of one of the show’s most pivotal moments, the Battle of Madrigal; conversations about the Spartans, the show’s elite military super soldier force; discussions of the costumes and visuals for each of the five Halo worlds; discussions of the weapons and vehicles of the Halo universe; discussions of the process by which the story and characters were adapted for television; a look at the creation of the alien culture known as the Covenant; and more. The Halo language is taught, the greatest Halo collection is examined, and different Easter eggs are discussed in depth over the extra 75 minutes of featurettes that spotlight the fans selected to attend the series premiere.

Inspired by Bungie’s classic gaming series, Halo pits humanity against an alien enemy known as the Covenant, who seeks to wipe out the human species. The player character, Master Chief (played by Pablo Schriber), learns the Covenant’s goals and realises he must find a means to thwart them. The show also features Natascha McElhone as Dr Halsey, the inventor of the Spartan super troops, and Jen Taylor as Cortana. Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, and Danny Sapani are among the show’s many other notable performers. Otto Bathurst and Toby Leslie of One Big Picture, Kyle Killen and Scott Pennington of Chapter Eleven, Steven Kane, Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, and Justin Falvey of Amblin Television, and Bonnie Ross, Frank O’Connor, and Kiki Wolfkill of 343 Industries serve as executive producers (for 343 Industries). On November 15, you may purchase the 4K UHD Steelbook. On the same day, Halo will be available for digital purchase, and on November 7th, it will be available on DVD and Blu-ray. The entire series is presently available for streaming on Paramount+ for anyone who would like to get caught up before the DVD release.
