Season 3 of Doom Patrol debuted on HBO Max in the fall of 2017. It’s about time that season of the popular DC series about an unlikeable squad of superheroes made its way to tangible media. On November 15, 2022, Blu-ray and DVD copies of “Doom Patrol: The Complete Third Season” will become available. The season is already accessible digitally, but the physical version will include “never-before-seen extra content” that viewers won’t want to miss. The heroes of Doom Patrol are more often the cause of trouble than the solution. All of our heroes have the experience of being in terrible situations before being rescued by Dr Niles Caulder and given a second chance at life (Timothy Dalton). Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Cyborg are just some of the heroes that populate this universe (Joivan Wade).
The third season of the show continues from where the second left off, with the Doom Patrol crew reeling from “a tragic loss” and at a crossroads as to where or what to do next. Their already tangled lives are further muddled when the mysterious Madame Rouge (Michelle Gomez) shows up at their house with a time machine but can’t remember why she was sent into the past to save the world. There are intriguing extras included with the retail release of Season 3. There will be an in-depth look at the new character Madame Rouge, as well as a documentary with the cast and crew exploring the “devastating loss” and its impact on the characters.
The characters of Doom Patrol were developed by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani for DC Comics. Jeremy Carver, Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter, Chris Dingess, & Tamara Becher-Wilkinson serve as executive producers for the show. You can see everything that is included in the Blu-ray and DVD releases of “Doom Patrol: The Complete Third Season” down below.
DVD and Blu-ray Bonus Materials:
A look at the chaos and insanity that ensues after Niles Caulder’s death in Doom Patrol Season 3, as shown in a brand-new featurette. The show’s creator, Jeremy Carver, and the actors had an insightful conversation on life after Niles’ death, awakening, and moving forward.
Though he is mainly a machine, Robotman is missing one important piece of equipment: a filter. The Doom Patrol’s robot/grandfather, Cliff Steele, is the most forthright in saying what’s on his mind.
The Doom Patrol is at a crossroads, & things get much more complicated when Madame Rouge returns in a time machine with a specific mission—if only she could remember it.
This season, the members of the Doom Patrol (Robotman/Cliff Steele, Negative Man/Larry Trainor, Elasti-Woman/Rita Farr, Crazy Jane/Victor Stone) are at a crossroads, grappling with questions of identity and where they want their lives to go.
