Released on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’

Horror and social criticism, often focusing on today’s adolescent culture, are staples of A24’s films, which have earned the company a reputation for eeriness. One of the A24 highlights is the satirical horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies, directed by Halina Reijn, which explores stories of parties gone bad with the generation raised on social media as the protagonists.

After a successful run in cinemas beginning in early August, the black comedy will finally be available to fans on Blu-ray and DVD on October 18, along with special features including an audio commentary with the film’s director, a look behind the scenes, and a few cut sequences. Bodies Bodies Bodies is a movie about a “group of twenty-somethings” who are trapped on a remote property during a cyclone, and they all have a breakdown. When one of the guests insists on playing a murder mystery game called “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” the otherwise amusing hurricane party game suddenly devolves into a homicidal carnage.

To survive the unexpectedly brutal night of fun turned horrific, battling against the killer’s next move, the group of “friends” must discover who to trust while simultaneously trying to figure out who the murderer is. Bodies Bodies Bodies, cleverly written by Kristen Roupenian, Sarah Delappe, Chloe Okuno, Joshua Sharp, and Aaron Jackson, attempts to illustrate the most harmful actions of Gen Z-ers when the Wi-Fi is off.

The black comedy horror picture has been receiving rave reviews from reviewers and audiences alike, making it the latest in a long line of successful releases from A24. An impressive roster of actors, including Amandla Stenberg (The Hunger Games), Maria Bakalova (Borat: The Sequel), Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island), Myha’la Herrold (Industry), Chase Sui Wonders (Generation), Rachel Sennott (Call Your Mother), and Lee Pace, feature in this horror comedy (The Hobbit Trilogy).

Don’t let yourself be the last of your “friends” to receive a copy. It costs $39.99 for the Blu-ray (with DVD and Digital) and $29.96 for the DVD of Bodies Bodies Bodies. Exclusive to Best Buy, this 4K combo set includes Blu-ray, digital, and bonus material for $42.99.

Synopsis
This new and amusing Gen-Z breakdown stars Pete Davidson, Amandla Stenberg, and Maria Bakalova and begins when a bunch of twentysomethings are stranded at a distant family house during a hurricane and a party game ends with a dead body on the ground and fingers pointed everywhere.
