The third season of The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill, has finished filming, according to a recent report from Redanian Intelligence, despite the show’s rocky start. The season is officially over, as verified by Bola Ogun, director of the final two episodes, on her Instagram stories. Steve Gaub, the show’s executive producer, also used Instagram to confirm the news with a photo from the set. Cavill, the show’s lead actor, wrote a heartfelt email to his coworkers that said, “What a season this has been!” He complimented the crew for their “drive and perseverance during a gruelling shoot” and expressed his hope that they would all “get some much-earned relaxation” now that the filming was over.
Production began in March of this year with Cavill, Freya Allan, and Anya Chalotra and filmed in a number of different locations, including Italy, Predjama castle in Slovenia, Wales, Morocco, the Sahara Desert, and Croatia, before wrapping back up at the Longcross Studios in England and surrounding locations in Surrey. After Cavill tested positive for COVID in July, work was temporarily halted. However, it swiftly recovered and by September, completion was anticipated. The development of Season 2 of The Witcher also ran into problems in 2020 due to the epidemic, delaying its release until December 2021.
3rd Season of Stranger Things has not been assigned a release date by Netflix, but knowing that it typically takes six to eight months to complete post-production on a series of this scale, viewers should anticipate the new season to drop anytime after April/May 2023. Fans would be best served to wait for the streamer to give a precise date rather than speculating based on the fact that Season 2 wrapped post-production in October 2021 and was released in December. Synopsis
