As the Final War arc of My Hero Academia progresses, the pace of the series increases. Edgeshot, the series’ fourth hero, used his power to try to rescue Bakugo in the previous chapter. Because of his extreme weight loss, he was able to enter Bakugo’s body and staunch the bleeding from within. With that, he became Bakugo’s heart and began performing CPR to try to save his life. But Shigaraki Tomura was also trying to wipe off Best Jeanist, Bakugo, and Edgeshot as he kept up his assault on the Heroes. Mirko was already gravely wounded, but he managed to hold him off long enough. Surprisingly, her strikes on Shigaraki began to have an effect, and although losing an arm in the process, she was able to help hold back the gigantic Villain alongside Mirio and Suneater. The consequences of her attack on Shigaraki will be explored in My Hero Academia 366, and it will be interesting to see how it relates to his inner battle.
Chapter 366 of My Hero Academia: Shigaraki Tomura’s Struggle
It’s safe to assume that Shigaraki Tomura will take up a sizable portion of Episode 366 of My Hero Academia. In the wake of his injuries at the hands of the Heroes, he began seeing disturbing visions of his past as a naive little child. Accidentally killing his entire family, no one stepped up to provide a hand when he needed it most. But now, Shigaraki believes he is being saved by members of his own family who have emerged from within him. Clearly, the following chapter will centre on his inner battle. The groundwork for this is there, and it was set by My Hero Academia’s creator, Horikoshi.
Izuku, towards the end of the Paranormal Liberation War, proclaimed that Shigaraki appeared to be someone in need of assistance. In time, the cumulative effects of All For One on his physique rendered him an even more helpless pawn. The author may have intended this to be Shigaraki’s turning point and the beginning of his redemption journey in the manga. It’s possible that in My Hero Academia 366, he’ll finally have a go at it. Still up in the air is whether or not Horikoshi will complete his journey to atonement.
Bakugo’s Return, Chapter 366 of My Hero Academia
There’s hope that Bakugo will be revived in My Hero Academia 366. A previous scene showed Shigaraki stabbing him in the chest, killing his heart and damaging his lungs. Bakugo’s life can be preserved because of Edgeshot and Best Jeanist’s efforts. However, this comes at a tremendous expense. As was hinted at in the prior chapter, Edgeshot would eventually come to represent his very soul. But in doing so, he will save one of the most promising Heroes of the future. Even if Bakugo’s life were to be saved, he would be in terrible shape. Bakugo is expected to remain sidelined until he is recovered. Fans familiar with his battling spirit, however, could expect him to leap back into the fray to help the Heroes battle until Izuku Midoriya arrives. Whatever the case may be, Bakugo’s reappearance is likely for My Hero Academia 366.
All For One! (My Hero Academia 366)
There are other dangers than Shigaraki that the Heroes must deal with in this cycle. Recently, with the help of Dr Kyudai Garaki, All For One was able to regain its former glory. The combined efforts of Hawks and Endeavor have made him far more formidable than he was before. His real strength was only hinted at, but My Hero Academia 366 should give fans a better idea of what he’s capable of in his new form. Hawks think that delaying him is the best strategy for dealing with the threat he now poses. Endeavor, meantime, is presumably planning to finish him off. Perhaps the next episode will go more into the threat posed by All For One.
Since he has already been shown to be capable of snatching Quirks, it is likely that the situation for the Heroes battling him and anybody else around will swiftly deteriorate. Therefore, it’s possible that My Hero Academia chapter 366 will provide the much-needed insight into the monster that is All For One’s abilities.
