Actor Fivel Stewart to play lead role in the upcoming psychological horror film Wake

It has been announced that rising talent Fivel Stewart will play the lead role in the next horror film, Wake. Stewart is also joining the film’s production team as an executive producer. Austin Parks and Tom Arizmendi Elizabeth H. Vu wrote the screenplay, and Stewart will direct the film. Wake, a psychological horror film set in Hollywood, has three producers: Daniel Blake Smith, Teddy Van Gough, and Sam Logan. Stewart will play an aspiring actress who will do everything for the lead in a remake of a classic film. A tangled relationship appears to develop between the main character and the actress who originated the role she is trying out for. While the elder actress has become somewhat of a recluse, it doesn’t stop our protagonist from wanting to be a part of the other woman’s life.

When the two ladies eventually meet, however, unpleasant events trigger a plunge into hell for which neither is prepared. The casting of the secretive actress has not yet been announced, but an announcement is expected soon. Stewart initially came to widespread attention when she was cast in a significant recurring part in the second season of Atypical, a Netflix drama about an autistic 18-year-old. In the role of Izzie Taylor, Stewart is portrayed as a high school runner who develops feelings for the protagonist’s sibling. Stewart continued to play Izzie through the fourth and final season of the programme. Stewart played Sandra Oh’s daughter in this year’s family horror flick Umma.

Umma’s theatrical debut wasn’t exactly a smashing success, but the Sam Raimi-produced movie quickly became a streaming phenomenon after its debut on Netflix. In addition to Pit Fighter and The Haunting of Sharon Tate, Stewart has also starred in the teen online series T@gged and an episode of the Apple TV+ anthology series Roar. Additionally, she was featured in the video for the song “Summerland” by the indie band half•alive. Stewart, who has practised martial arts professionally since she was six, is a veteran competitor. Besides Wake, Stewart has been linked to a number of other major projects recently.

Stewart will next be seen in The Windigo, a film, and The Girls of St. Joan, a television series. Her sibling, Booboo Stewart, is also a working actor who has acted in movies including X-Men: Days of Future Past and the Twilight series. At this time, there is no set date for the release of Wake.
