As always, readers of Tokyo Revengers can’t wait for the next instalment. The next episode will presumably continue the confrontation between Mikey and Takemichi on the railway tracks, which has been the primary emphasis of the narrative thus far. There were several components in the most recent chapter that readers loved. Some of the panels in Chapter 266 have been interpreted differently, although Ken Wakui is anticipated to explain this.
Readers have seen the devastating potential of Mikey when his Dark Impulses overtake him, hence the subject of Mikey’s Dark Impulses has been a hot topic on many online discussion boards. Many readers of the Tokyo Revengers manga have wondered if Takemichi would ever be able to convince Mikey to overcome his Dark Impulses. Let’s take a peek into what the next episode of the series has in store for its viewers.
It’s generally agreed that Takemichi and Mikey’s battle is the series finale, and the events of Tokyo Revengers 267 tip the scales in the Cry-baby Hero’s favour. As if to allay the readers’ fears from the last chapter, mangaka Wakui equips Takemichi with a new weapon to use against Mikey in this one. Mikey and Takemichi’s respective talents are highlighted in Tokyo Revengers chapter 267, along with the ways in which they may compete with one another. Wakui answers a long-standing fan query about the series’ decision to introduce Takemichi’s visions by explaining one of the motivations for doing so.
Tokyo Revenge chapter 267 Spoilers
In the last chapter, it was implied that Mikey admired Takemichi’s doggedness but still planned to kill him. Takemichi had a vision of Mikey kicking him when they were fighting. As soon as his vision ended, Takemichi was nearly knocked unconscious by a kick.
Recap of Chapter 266
Let’s take a look back at some of the best moments from the last chapter before we discuss what readers may anticipate in the future one. In the prior chapter, we saw Mikey completely ruin Takemichi. In spite of severe wounds, the Cry Baby Hero doesn’t appear to be giving up. Mikey had questioned Takemichi about why he kept standing during their battle; in response, Takemichi had promised Mikey something for the future.
Takemichi wished happiness and tranquilly for all of his pals, including Mikey. The panel in Tokyo Revengers where Takemichi sees Mikey kicking him in the face stands out as the most important scene in this chapter. Previously, he has experienced visions that let him foresee certain movements. This time, however, Takemichi’s reaction time was too slow, and he got kicked in the face by Mikey.
Synopsis of Chapter 267
In the opening moments of Tokyo Revengers chapter 267, “To Signal a Counterattack,” we see Takemichi staggering from the force of the kick. Surprised at how quickly his vision came true, he taunted Mikey into kicking him again to prove his point. Seconds before Mikey’s assault really happened, he had another vision of it. Takemichi was able to successfully block the kick this time around since he was well-prepared. Takemichi saw that his vision had improved and was now giving him glimpses of the immediate future rather than the whole sequence. And so, fortified by this confidence, he proceeded to use these glances as a shield against Mikey’s blows.
At the opposite end of the field, Mitsuya, Sanzu, Chifuyu, and the rest of the awakened players stared in disbelief as Takemichi matched Mikey blow for blow. Takemichi’s ability to avoid Mikey’s blows amazed Mikey, who thought he was too slow. Unfortunately, he quickly realised that his foe was avoiding his blows even before he moved. He probed for an answer on whether or not Takemichi had a crystal ball. In contrast, Takemichi was having trouble keeping up with Mikey even with his sight. He was aware of Mikey’s might but reminded himself that he needed to prevail if he wanted to save his friend. The two fighters exchanged numerous strikes before Mikey’s defences cracked in the vision. Takemichi took advantage of a pause between Mikey’s kicks and hit him with all his power, sending the Kantou president flying. From the Tokyo Revengers chapter 267 endnote: “Even Unstoppable Mikey has fallen.”
It seems like everyone Mikey pushed down, including Sanzu and Hanma, is doing okay. Takemichi demonstrates his fortitude once more by withstanding Mikey’s relentless onslaught. There wasn’t quite as much of a jolt at the end of the final chapter as many people had expected. It’s also quite improbable that Takemichi’s punch would leave Mikey with any serious injuries. The fact that this is the first time anyone in the final battle has really punched Mikey is the most noteworthy aspect of this move. For others in the fanbase, Takemichi’s vision was an unacceptable new development. No one knows where or when these images came from since Wakui hasn’t adequately explained how time-leaping actually works.
In Tokyo Revengers Chapter 267, however, it becomes evident that one of Wakui’s major motivations for introducing this specific talent was to provide Takemichi with a much-needed advantage over Mikey. At this point in the series, Mikey’s invincibility has been established. Takemichi is able to overcome their enormous strength gap because of the strength bestowed upon him by his visions. Mikey’s knowledge that predictions are possible, however, lends credence to the theory that he is the second time traveller. There is still no clear understanding of Mikey’s motivations, and his stated objective of killing Takemichi does not appear to be sincere. Even while the events of Tokyo Revenger’s Chapter 267 don’t shed much light on his motivations, they do place Takemichi and Mikey on more or less equal footing. Takemichi will use this to his advantage to question Mikey, and the reader may expect an answer.
Tokyo Revengers Chapter 267 Speculations
In the next episode of Tokyo Revengers, the conflict between Mikey and Takemichi will most certainly escalate. Takemichi will likely try to get Mikey to overcome his Dark Impulses while that is going on. Additionally, the next chapter will likely explain Takemichi’s vision, which will please supporters. It’s probable that Takemichi’s injuries made him too sluggish to dodge Mikey’s kick. Yet, from a writer’s perspective, it makes no sense. As a result, Wakui may shed light on or provide further depth to the notion of time leaping by connecting it to the timeframe of Takemichi’s vision.
Tokyo Revengers’ next chapter will also show readers if Takemichi is making any headway with Mikey’s Dark Impulses. The way things are shaping out, Takemichi may be Mikey’s only hope at this point. The story is currently in its penultimate arc, and putting a stop to Mikey’s dark impulses would be a fitting conclusion. If that’s the case, this problem probably won’t be solved by the end of the following chapter. However, there are other supporters who think the time won’t matter much for the story. In the following chapter, though, Takemichi might be able to anticipate Mikey’s actions and keep up with his assaults.
