Speculations for Chapter 335
It’s quite improbable that Asta will actually die, despite what Lucius says in Black Clover 335. Most likely, Sister Lily will take him somewhere else where Lucius may use Anti-Magic without interference. It would be a waste of the elder Zogratis’s respect for magic for him to just murder Asta without trying to use his Anti-Magic or his hired Devil. Lucius, in his arrogance, may believe that he can convert Asta into a Paladin and that he can also cleanse Liebe. It’s more likely that Lily will take Asta to the Underworld, although all three of them might show up in the Spade Kingdom due to the importance of that location. Tabata may introduce Yuno to Spade after Lucius gets Asta there because Yuno has been MIA during the Final Arc. The effectiveness of Yuno’s Spirit Users against the Paladins is still up in the air. Clearly, Noelle was overpowered, and each chapter raises the possibility that she no longer has Undine since that Lolopechka appears to have been cured.
In Black Clover 335, Fuegoleon did not get his opportunity to duel Lily or Lucius. Therefore, the outcome of a fight between Spirit Users and Paladins is completely unpredictable. Since of his history with Sister Lily and because he is the strongest Spirit User shown thus far in the series, Yuno has the best chance of success. It’s also possible that Lucius will have made a few more Paladins by then; it’s not known if he suffers any negative effects from using his magic to change other people. Despite their disbelief, the captains probably won’t let Lucius get away without giving chase. Unless Lucius reveals the details of his schemes in a fit of nefarious joy, no one will be able to discover the truth behind them. As seen in Black Clover chapter 335, William and Yami have suffered the most, and rightfully so; nonetheless, they were also the two arcane stage magicians most crucial to Lucius’s schemes. Time will tell if he can make use of them in any way to move closer to his objective.
