Rob Zombie’s “The Munsters” will debut on Netflix this fall, Synopsis, Cast & Everything you need to know

Everyone who has been wondering when Rob Zombie’s The Munsters would be available on streaming services may now rest easy. The newest feature-length film from the filmmaker of “House of 1000 Corpses” is set to premiere on Netflix on September 27. If you’ve been paying attention or following the previous stories we’ve published about release updates for the movie, you’ll know that this is the same date that the picture will reach Blu-ray, digital, and DVD. Fans of Zombie may want to acquire a physical copy of the film since it includes an hour of added features, such as a behind-the-scenes video with Zombie and his cast, which Netflix customers may see for free while streaming the film. Zombie’s film will centre on the beginnings of Lily (Sheri Moon Zombie) and Herman Munster’s (Jeff Daniel Philips) love, updating the legendary 1960s CBS sitcom while remaining faithful to its groovy roots.

A trailer for the film was published last month, and it revealed a number of major story points. Lily’s father, The Count (Dan Roebuck), who despises her new love interest, will also play a larger role in the film, along with the primary love tale. Numerous more people, including Cassandra Peterson, Jorge Garcia, Sylvester McCoy, Tomas Boykin, Richard Brake, and many more, are also engaged. Plenty more stories are on the way, thanks to characters like Lester the Werewolf (Boykin), Tin Can Man (original cast member Butch Patrick), and even one-episode wonder and spokes-ghoul for Crumble Creatures Crackers, Zombo, who is also scheduled to feature in the film. In addition to the release of his cinematic interpretation, Zombie has remained true to his musical roots by releasing not one but two albums with similar themes.

The first Zombo record has two of the host’s most popular songs, “It’s Zombo” and “House of Zombo.” Moreover, Zombie recently released word that he will be releasing a record starring Herman and Lily, which would feature the duo’s rendition of “I Got You Babe,” a classic love ballad originally performed by Sonny and Cher. The two albums have recently been released. While there has been no official announcement on a soundtrack or any other musical musings based on The Munsters, we anticipate that Zombie will release at least a couple more gifts for his followers in the next month. We can’t wait till September 27 to see what tricks Zombie has in store for the production.
