In the previous arc, Luffy and the rest of the Pirates leave Wano. One Piece Chapter 1058 presents them with several challenges, though. But in the next section, we’ll find out who deserves to be the next emperor. Luffy defeated Kaidou in the Wano storyline, but would he become the new emperor? We are currently in an era of extreme uncertainty.

Recap of Chapter 1057
Previously, in Chapter 1057 of One Piece, Momonosuke found out that Yamato stayed behind instead of joining the Straw Hat Pirates. Momonosuke was perplexed, but Yamato eventually explained that he was trying to emulate Kozuki Oden by first visiting Wano. Momonosuke was angry that despite Yamato informing the Straw Hats of this, they still didn’t bother to say farewell. Yamato thought Kin’emon and Momonosuke were overreacting when they planned to punish Luffy, but they were angry about it.
They arrived at Tokage Port in time to bid their final farewells to the Kid, Heart, and Straw Hats Pirates. The future scared Momonosuke, so he begged Luffy to stay. But Luffy presented him with a flag with the Straw Hats’ emblem and informed him that he had been waiting for him to do so. Luffy gave him this flag and urged him to wave it at anyone who threatened him. Upon leaving port, Nami instructed the group to make their way to Hakumai’s main port. The kid, however, made fun of Law and Luffy for taking the cautious approach. The story of the Raid on Onigashima was also told to an audience at Wano, the Flower Capital.

The next section begins with an index of Billion Beri nightclubs. Jack the Drought, an officer in the Beast Pirates, is responsible for killing a billion Beri in the opening scene. Then there’s Vinsmoke Sanji of the Straw Hats, whose bounty has grown since his recent showdown with Queen. There are 1,032,000,000 Beri in his wealth. Our next speaker will be Charlotte Katakuri. He currently has 1,057,000,000 Beri. A stranger from another planet, he has no place here. Whole Cake Island and Katakuri’s wealth will have their beginnings detailed in the next chapter.
The next in worth is ex-Shichibukai Jinbe, who is estimated at 70,000,000 BER. But now he is a Straw Hat member. Roronoa Zoror, another Straw Hat, is valued at 1 billion Beri, making him somewhat more valuable than Jinbe. Once he hurt Kaido with a combination attack involving two Yonko, his worth skyrocketed. Just as Whitebeard’s officer Marco estimates the Queen to be worth more than a billion Beri, so does the notorious Queen herself. King, the last remaining officer of the Beast Pirates, is valued at well over a billion Beri. As a matter of fact, Sir Crocodile has about two billion Beri. To improve his standing, he is currently establishing the Cross Guild. Marshall D. Teach comes in second, with a net worth of about 2 billion Beri.
A Kid is worth 3 billion Beri, the same as Law and Luffy. While Buggy, the Clown and Dracula are each valued at more than 3 billion Beri, Shanks is over 4 billion Beri. But when you add in Kaidou’s value, Linlin’s total price tag exceeds 4 billion Beri. However, Edward and Gol D. Roger have a net worth of more than 5 billion Beri between them.
