The second season of La Brea begins on Tuesday, September 27 at 9:00 pm ET/PT, and new photographs provide a glimpse inside the show’s two contrasting worlds. NBC’s smash blockbuster drama is about a group of people who are separated when one of them falls through a sinkhole in Los Angeles and ends up 12,000 years in the past. After a day, Peacock will have the series available to watch online. La Brea Season 2 images provide a taste of a new plot taking place “up above” in 1988 Los Angeles and address some fan queries about what their favourite characters are doing “down below” in 10,000 B.C.
Some of the photos are more like what we’ve seen before in terms of scenes and themes from the show, while others reveal a whole new world of cool ’80s interior design.
The Harris family is still divided by the passage of time as Season 2 begins. When Josh (Jack Martin, All Rise) accidentally entered a portal in 1988, his mother Eve (Natalie Zea, Justified) was devastated. While everything is going on, her ex-husband Gavin (Eoin Mackin; Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) and their daughter Izzy (Zyra Gorecki; Chicago Fire) are attempting to make their way back to Los Angeles from ancient Seattle.
Jonno Roberts (Wrecked) joins the cast in the second season as James, a bright scientist and businessman who is desperately attempting to rescue the planet. La Brea’s debut season was the most watched premiere of the 2021-22 television season among adults aged 18-49. Veronica St. Clair (13 Reasons Why), Rohan Mirchandaney (Hotel Mumbai), Lily Santiago (Vineyards), Josh McKenzie (Filthy Rich), Tonantzin Carmelo (Imprint), and Michelle Vergara Moore are also a part of the La Brea cast (The Usual Suspects). David Appelbaum (The Mentalist), creator and showrunner of La Brea, serves as an executive producer on the programme along with Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Chris Hollier, Adam Davidson, Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, Ken Woodruff, and Arika Lisanne Mittman. Keshet Studios and Universal Television, both of the Universal Studio Group, are responsible for producing the series. The second season premiere of La Brea is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, and the episodes will be made accessible on Peacock the following day.
