The 20th episode of Kingdom season 4 was named “Land of Dreams,” and it did a great job of advancing the plot. When seen in reverse, it becomes clear that the episode’s primary focus was on laying the groundwork for the story’s future breadth, and that the conversation constructed the nodes that may be utilised to advance the plot at any moment. Eisei and Lu Buwei had a meeting to discuss the fallout from the Xiangyang fight, and we watched the crown ceremony come to a close. The episode’s other half took place in Xiangyang, where Xin’s army was giving the Rebels all they had. Because of the obvious, Eisei and Mukou are doing everything they can to keep Rei hidden from the enemy. Both sides’ tensions were elevated by the incident, and now they’re prepared to respond to its aftermath. In terms of the episode’s animation, it was generally solid; we didn’t spot any major problems in any of the individual frames.
In fact, the background music was excellent and gave you chills during the tense parts of the film. The 21st episode of Kingdom 4 will hopefully be just as entertaining.
