The New ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ Trailer Gives Jennifer Walters a Superhero Identity

Cartoon Network has published a new teaser for the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, featuring Tatiana Maslany as Bruce Banner’s (Mark Ruffalo) cousin Jennifer Walters. The media onslaught Jennifer will suffer when the public officially dubs her a superhero is hinted at in the new teaser. The origin of Jennifer’s anger-fueled superpowers is revealed in the pilot episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. However, Jennifer changes her mind and decides that she would rather devote her time and work to becoming a lawyer than a superhero. Jennifer’s secret was not kept for long, though, as she ended up Hulking it out for the cameras in the middle of her trial.

The new teaser teases that in Episode 2, Jennifer’s metamorphosis will be front and centre as the media labels her a superhero with the moniker She-Hulk. A humorous phone conversation between Bruce and Jennifer also appears in the new teaser. In the premiere episode, Jennifer poked fun at Bruce for adopting the name Smart Hulk, remarking that he seems like he is always praising his own achievements. Bruce explains to Jenniffer that he didn’t think of the name and that if she ever becomes a superhero, she may meet the same end as he did. Bruce was apparently correct; the character She-Hulk will play a major role in the second episode.

The Emerald Giant was a memorable aspect of the pilot episode, and it’s wonderful to hear that Bruce will continue to make appearances. The first two episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law focused on Jennifer’s background and upbringing. Even still, earlier previews have hinted that one of the series’ key plots would see Jennifer become the defendant of Tim Roth’s Abomination, her cousin Bruce’s longtime foe.

The last time we saw the Abomination, it was in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, where it was engaged in an unauthorised competition against Benedict Wong’s Sorcerer Supreme. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will not only include the return of both characters but will also provide light on their mysterious appearance. Titania, played by Jameela Jamil, makes a brief cameo in the premiere of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Finally, Charlie Cox, who played Daredevil in the Marvel series on Netflix, will reprise his role in the new series. Cox’s Marvel revival is more noteworthy considering that his Daredevil portrayal has been cast in three MCU films. Each Thursday, Disney+ will update with a new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
