Additionally, Mihawk’s former nickname was “Marine Hunter,” therefore it’s safe to assume that he has killed several Marines in the past (That explains his impressive bounty). Luffy and Sanji both have bounties, although Luffy’s is 1.101 billion Berries while Sanji’s is 1.032 billion Berries. However, Buggy’s 3.189 Billion Berries haul is undoubtedly the most shocking information revealed in this chapter. Although the Marines placing such a high price on Buggy’s head might be a mistake, it is nonetheless surprising to see the Clown so near to the likes of Mihawk in terms of reward.
The truth is that Buggy is in deep danger because he owes a significant sum of money to an unknown individual.
