One Piece’s four-year Wano storyline has finally come to a close. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates are making their way to Hakumai, the major port, without Yamato’s presence. The instructor related, in poetic form, how the island of Onigashima had been engulfed by storm clouds and their reverberations.
Simultaneously, the roar of the Azure dragon and the howling of other animals add to the din. The rain has bleached the fall foliage at Habu Port to a vibrant burgundy colour. The instructor continues, “I think we’re ready for a narrative on duty and honour.” Here, at long last, comes the account of the royal retainers’ effort to redeem Kozuki Oden’s name. After then, the populace cried out, “Red Scabbards!” Meanwhile, in a wilderness not far from Tokage Port, Udon, Momonosuke has transformed into a dragon and is transporting Kin’emon and Yamato on his back.
Although Momonosuke expected Yamato to join the Straw Hat Pirates, he ultimately opted to go his own way. After telling Luffy and the others that he wouldn’t be leaving, Yamato told Momonosuke that he, too, would be staying. Kin’emon cut in to ask Yamato whether he was happy with everything. Both Momonosuke and Kin’emon were confused by this news, as they were aware that Yamato had already agreed to join the Straw Hat Pirates. Yamato, however, decides at the last minute that he wants to emulate Kozuki Oden. Since there is still so much that Yamato doesn’t know, he plans to start his voyage by exploring Wano. And he knows he will get to the ocean eventually.
Momonosuke had an epiphany Even while he was bidding farewell to his friends, Yamato was able to tell the Straw Hat Pirates all of this. In response, he claimed that Luffy and the others were ignoring him on purpose. He remembers when he first met Luffy and how they joked and spoke. Remember, Luffy and Momonosuke have been through a lot together, from sharing dreams of being the Shogun of Wano to the King of Pirates. Now that he has nowhere to call home, Momonosuke has allied himself with Luffy. The second has likewise pledged to put an end to Kaido and ultimately win.
They’ve gone through a lot together, and even if they don’t always get along, that’s not to discount their closeness. As a result, Momonosuke has come to the conclusion that Luffy is a cruel devil who takes the liberty to mean the liberty to be nasty to him. Momonosuke attributes his own life, the ability to laugh again, and the possibility to exact revenge on his parents to Luffy. He was so worried about what the future held that he tried to stop Luffy from leaving port. In the background, Nami and Zoro remarked on what a sad spectacle it was to hear from the Shogun of Wano. Nami thinks that deep down, even though Momonosuke is an adult, he is still a child.
As payment, Luffy presented Momonosuke with a flag depicting a straw hat as a symbol. It seems like Luffy’s entire life has been spent anticipating Momonosuke’s arrival. Luffy also assured Momonosuke that, despite their physical differences, he still thinks of him as his little brother. Momonosuke may gaze at the flag and think of all the fun times they had sailing together whenever times become rough. In case something happens to them, Luffy also wants him to plant the flag in Wano. Because of this, anyone who poses a threat to Luffy and his pals will know exactly who they’re up against. Luffy tells Momonosuke and Kin’emon that if they ever decide to join the Straw Hat Pirates, he will come for them as quickly as possible. Yamato was also tasked with taking care of his two pets, Momonosuke and Kin’emon.
As he says farewell to Luffy, Momonosuke makes a pledge to Kin’emon: “One day, I will surpass Kuzuki Oden.” After returning to the Thousand Sunny, Nami told the crew to make their way to Hakumai’s main port so they could avoid taking the waterfall ride again. It has been discovered that there is also a lift capable of lowering ships. On the other side, Kid started making fun of Luffy and Law for trying to circumvent the waterfall by going to the main port.
