What Happened in Episode 7 of Overlord?
The red-furred Quagoa, Yohz, visits the clan Lord, Riyuro, in Feo Berkana. He informed them that the dwarves had responded to their invasion of the Great Chasm by sending army golems. Riyuro is warned of an impending threat by the arrival of another Quagoa. Dwarves have started their counterattack, and more golems are on their way, according to Riyuro. Riyuro wanted to visit the ice dragons and communicate with them, so he ordered Yohz to round up all the Quagoas and bring them to the deserted area.
Riyuro’s plan is to pit the dragons against the dwarves in an effort to wear them down on both sides. After that, Riyuro visits the big white dragon lord, Lord Olasird’arc. The approaching dwarven onslaught was something Riyuro had warned him about. He hopes to purchase the dragon’s might with wealth. Before making a choice, Lord Olasird’arc discussed it with his wives. With the exception of one, they all consented to Riyuro’s request. In exchange for ten times Riyuro’s original offer of gold coins, Lord Olasird’arc accepted Riyuro’s plea to halt the dwarves. Lord Olasird’arc sent his eldest son Hejinmal to see the dwarven assault after the Quagoas had fled. Hejinmal followed his father’s instructions despite his misgivings. Hejinmal makes inferences about what’s going on as they go. After all, he lacks any real fighting expertise.
He believes his foes would go away once they realise he is a formidable dragon. While this was happening, Hejinmal became aware of a dwarf, a dark elf, and an ancient lich strolling over to him. Because of the lich’s advanced age and the fine robe it was wearing, Hejinmal felt sceptical of it. Hejinmal questioned Ainz, the senior lich, about their upcoming activities in the city. Instead of providing him with answers, Ainz insisted on having it confirmed that Hejinmal is the capital’s resident frost dragon. In reply, Hejinmal revealed that he was indeed the offspring of the ice dragon Ainz had stated. The fearsome dragon character Hejinmal adopted did not work on Ainz and his allies. Hejinmal, aware that Ainz was about to unleash his Grasp Heart spell with the unseen Quagoas watching, made the decision to make a promise and surrender to Ainz.
Thankfully, Ainz held off on his assault long enough to think over Hejinmal’s proposal. Ainz is astounded at Hejinmal’s capacity to store subcutaneous fat in his body and endure the frigid circumstances in the capital. Additionally, Hejinmal let Ainz know that he was the only dragon in existence that possessed a healthy amount of fat. Because of his uniqueness, Ainz opted against killing him. Hejinmal claims there are a total of fifteen dragons in the capital, four larger ones and ten smaller ones. Ainz, still in shock, gives Aura custody of Hejinmal. Ainz’s kindness was acknowledged with gratitude by Aura. She shows Hejinmal who’s boss by blowing purple dust in his face. The opposite was true for Hejinmal, who started to urinate on himself. Ainz claims that Ankoro Mochi Mochi told him that his dog, when caressed, also urinates.
Consequently, Shalltear suggests we do the same with Ainz’s grandeur. Ainz may have collapsed if all the NPC guards tried to pee themselves, thus it’s fortunate that Aura interrupted Shalltear’s thoughts. And so Ainz gave the Quagoas over to Aura and Shalltear to deal with. In addition, he requested that Hejinmal take him to meet the ice dragons. Before Gondo decides to destroy all the ice dragons, he begs Ainz to spare Hejinmal’s mother. Ainz effortlessly killed Lord Olasird’arc within with his Grasp Heart spell. Before he murdered them, Hejinmal told Ainz that all of Lord Olasird’arc’s wives were their mothers. As he had promised, Ainz chose to save the lives of the last three dragons. Ainz ordered Hejinmal to collect up all dwarven records, while the ladies of Lord Olasird’arc’s household rounded up all the baby dragons. Before everyone got back, Gondo also asked Ainz to unlock the treasury.
Ainz uses a rare artefact from the royal treasury that can only be used seven times. When Ainz and Gondo unlock the capital’s treasury, they are greeted by the city’s wealth. Aura and Shalltear are also getting ready to deal with the Quagoas. Aura claims that Ainz instructed them to negotiate with the Quagoas in an effort to gain their submission. Ainz had long thought that the Death Knights had been slain when they fell from the bridge, as stated by Aura. Aura reasoned that he probably didn’t tell Shalltear to test her and make her think Ainz was wrong about his assumption. Then, Aura and Shalltear approach Riyuro, the clan lord, and convince him to genuflect and kiss the ground before Ainz. Nonetheless, Riyuro is unwilling to give up power, and he has thousands of Quagoas under his command. Ainz had ordered the Quagoan population to be cut down to 4,000 females, 4,000 men, and 2,000 youngsters, and Shalltear had notified Riyuro of this. Still, Riyuro directed his troops into battle against Shalltear and Aura.
While the Quagoas try to fight back, Shalltear is too formidable for them. When compared to the Death Knights she’s met in the past, her strength is unparalleled. In the hopes that Shalltear would be too exhausted to continue the attack, Riyuro dispatched all of his elite troops to stop him. The unfortunate reality is that Shalltear’s power never faltered. As much as Riyuro wishes he hadn’t, he made the decision to cull the army down to ten thousand fighting men. However, the frost dragons have amassed in Ainz’s presence. With the exception of the idiot Trangealit (who perished with Lord Olasird’arc), they all swear fealty to the Sorcerer King. Shalltear and Aura accompany Ainz as he visits the other surviving Quagoas. To earn Ainz’s forgiveness, Riyuro conceded defeat and promised to serve him. Ainz was also quick to compliment Shalltear and Aura on their efforts. The other dwarfs, meanwhile, were overjoyed. As a goodbye to the runesmiths, Ainz has planned a feast with plenty of alcohol for everyone to enjoy. Towards the end of the episode, Ainz encounters Demiurge. Ainz told Demiurge that he had read his report on the Theocracy. Demiurge responds by praising Ainz’s work for the dwarf country. In addition, Demiurge wanted to know what Ainz had in mind. That flag’s crane triggered his memory of a guild named the Millennium Kingdom.
