The title of next chapter 363 of My Hero Academia is “The Ones Who Defend and The Ones Who Attack,” at least according to the spoilers. This chapter covers four different locales. The spoilers for My Hero Academia 363 say that it opens with a stunned and heartbroken Monoma recalling Bakugo’s wish for a perfect triumph. It has been confirmed by Best Jeanist that Bakugo does not have a pulse.
That he failed to hold the fort until Deku came is frustrating to Mirio. In a cruel dig, Shigaraki/AFO claims that Eraser Head stayed in the shadows because he trusted his dead student. The bad guy says Mirko is Deku’s second gift, but the Rabbit Hero isn’t frightened but instead angry, saying she should have murdered Shigaraki in Jaku. Shigaraki/AFO agrees with Deku that the heroes should have followed his plan and charged in immediately, rather than waiting and allowing the bad guys time to prepare.
Chapter 363 of My Hero Academia reveals that All Might’s command centre has been hacked and taken over by Skeptic from an unnamed laboratory. He is now operating a satellite and speaking with the bad guys using the Nomus’ in-neck speakers. He’s also to blame for the heroes’ broken line of communication. Skeptic is seen messing with the civilian escape routes under U.A. on his computers for some unknown reason.
In this chapter, we follow the Todorokis, led by Fuyumi, to the shelters where they keep an eye on the youngsters who have been enrolled in the Remedial Courses. Children confidently inform their instructor that Shoto and Katsuki will eliminate the bad guys. Shelters also host AFO spies from Chapter 342.
In chapter 363 of My Hero Academia, the action moves to Kamino, where Dabi has successfully avoided death by imitating Shoto’s strategy of channelling his rage inward. Shoto says his brother is a better improviser since he learned on the job. Burnin advises Shoto to run away as Dabi assaults them, but the youngster does not want to leave.
Once Touya inquires as to where Endeavor is, Skeptic reveals that his father is engaged in combat with the villain in the Gunga Mountains, and the chapter’s focus moves there. According to AFO, the bad guys are more prepared this time around and have managed to catch the good guys off guard.
AFO’s face is shown on the final page, and it appears to have partially recovered. Strangely, even though a lack of a pulse indicates death, Horikoshi nevertheless gives himself plausible deniability. Several idiosyncrasies in the body can revive a dormant heartbeat. For the time being, however, readers should assume Bakugo is no longer alive. While it’s not expected that Mirko would end up deformed as Katsuki did, it’s still not impossible. Chapter 363 of My Hero Academia debunks the “Dabi Phoenix” idea. It’s unclear, though, how Dabi can mimic Shoto’s method, given that it requires a mastery of both Fire and Ice, which Dabi lacks.
By letting his body absorb the blue flames on its own, he probably alters his brother’s approach. Dabi’s continued attention to Endeavor suggests that Shoto’s prior urgings went unheeded. While Skeptic’s reappearance was unexpected, it helped to resolve a number of plot threads. Because of the presence of AFO’s spies, he is primarily concerned with preventing citizens from fleeing the shelters. If the shelters were destroyed, it would be a devastating blow to the heroes, many of whom likely had loved ones inside.
The heroes’ morale, psychology, and concentration would all suffer if they were put in jeopardy. AFO is spot-on when he says that the bad guys have more resources at their disposal than the good guys have at this point. Horikoshi, however, may quickly nullify that benefit by presenting a plausible Deus Ex Machina. Furthermore, it appears that Shigaraki (at the U.A. grounds) and AFO (in the Gunga Mountains) have both made some progress in their respective healing processes. It’s not clear what happened to bring this outcome, but it will undoubtedly be detrimental to the heroes. From the raw scans sent with the spoilers, it is impossible to accurately assess the degree to which they and Dabi have healed. My Hero Academia Chapter 363 will provide clarity once it has been officially translated.
