When Jurassic World: Dominion was released earlier this summer, it marked the conclusion of the Jurassic World trilogy. The dramatic climax is finally arriving on streaming services, and there are a few twists in store! Peacock will begin broadcasting Jurassic World: Dominion on September 2. But that’s not all! Subscribers may see not just the theatrical cut, but also an extended cut with a different prologue. The unification of the franchise’s two time periods in Jurassic World Dominion was a major draw for viewers. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return to the franchise, and they are joined by Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill from Jurassic World to solve the worldwide dinosaur problem.
The film begins four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, with dinosaurs loose on Earth and posing a danger to human life. Travelling from a shadowy dinosaur black market in Malta to a dinosaur refuge in the Italian highlands managed by the villainous BioSyn, the protagonists of the novel encounter several exotic locales. Any viewer with an interest in dinosaurs will be captivated by the movie’s brand-new creatures, thrilling action sequences, and stunning visual effects. Moviegoers at Peacock will be able to choose between the original theatrical cut and the newly-created, longer version next month.
One can find an alternative beginning sequence and an additional 14 minutes in the extended cut. Fans may also see a short video called “Battle at Big Rock,” as well as some “making of” footage. In addition, on September 1st, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park II: The Lost World, and Jurassic Park III will all be available to watch exclusively on Peacock. In the wake of its theatrical debut, Jurassic World: Dominion has made it’s way straight to Peacock. Joining the ranks of box office smashes like “Black Phone,” “The Northman,” and “Ambulance.” Pratt, Howard, Dern, Goldblum, Neill, DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, BD Wong, Isabella Sermon, and Omar Sy are just some of the names you’ll recognise in Jurassic World: Dominion. Colin Trevorrow, who helmed Jurassic World, helms this one as well; he and Emily Carmichael wrote the screenplay based on a scenario they came up with Derek Connolly.
Michael Crichton, the author of the original Jurassic Park novel, also has characters in the film. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley served as producers, and Steven Spielberg, Alexandra Derbyshire, and Colin Trevorrow served as executive producers. When Jurassic World Dominion arrives on Peacock on September 2, you may stream either version and all of its supplemental materials.
