With the use of Time Magic, Lucius made a deal with the most powerful devil, Astaroth, in Black Clover Chapter 333. For the purpose of discovering the truth about being a demon host and having two souls at birth. But he peered into the future during his encounter, and he was relieved to hear that real peace existed around the globe.
But the other part of Julius, his soul, said no. Lucius, like many others, had anticipated Julius’ treachery and was dismayed by it. However, with a gentle brush to Julius’ forehead, he told him that everything would be well. The Magic Emperor’s transformation left Asta and others bewildered. Soon after, Asta understood that it wasn’t Julius. Yet before that could happen, Lucius froze everyone in place. Lucius reached out to touch Asta on the forehead, but Asta transformed into her black form and pushed Lucius away.
It dawned on Asta that everyone, not only Julius, was caught in the enchantment of Time Magic. As a result, Asta was perplexed, and Lucius had to acknowledge that he had absorbed Lucifero. But he insisted on knowing where Julius was. In his declaration of death, Lucius detailed his grand strategy for achieving lasting global peace.

Asta and Lucius’s battle will carry on until the next chapter. Asta breaks the Time Magic ritual and jumps across time to call the demon Union. This will cause Lucius to label Asta as a difficult individual. Asta is able to counteract the potent energy with her Anti Magic. It will cause Lucius to take on a fully human appearance.
He’ll take on the appearance of a Seraphic sprite, complete with flapping wings and horns. Neither human nor devilish in appearance, Asta will be shocked to see Lucius’ Ki now. Asta, however, will continue to battle Lucius, who will ultimately side with Sister Lily. Using Soul Magic, Lucius subjugates Lily’s will and makes her his servant. Sister Lily and Asta will be terrified by this change, but she will beg Asta to sacrifice herself peacefully for the sake of world peace. Asta is then pushed by Lucius, who knocks him to the floor.
