Tower of God, one of the more unexpected collaborations between Crunchyroll and Webtoon, has now published the first teaser for the confirmed second season! The first season of the series aired two years ago, making it the most successful of the many webcomic adaptations produced by Crunchyroll’s unique relationship with Webtoon, which also gave rise to such hit shows as The God of High School and Noblesse. The fans were most vocal about wanting more Tower of God, and the show’s return for a second season has already been announced. Tower of God Season 2 was unveiled at Crunchyroll’s special industry panel at Crunchyroll Expo last weekend.
As a way to commemorate the announcement of Season 2, the show released a teaser that recaps some of the most significant moments from the first season while also dropping some foreboding hints about what’s to come. There aren’t a tonne of specifics regarding Tower of God Season 2 just yet, but SIU did share their thoughts on the new anime announcement: “It seems like only yesterday that the first season of the animation debuted, but now I’ll get whole see you all again thanks to season 2!
