In One Piece Chapter 1057, Ceaser resorts to poison gas in an effort to bring down his enemies. One Piece Chapter 1057 was described as the series’ “conclusion” in early spoilers. Yamato, Momonosuke, and Kinemon
While in his dragon form, Momonosuke has welcomed Yamato and Kinemon to ride atop his head. On the other hand, Momosuke is sprinting rather than soaring. When Momonosuke learns that Yamato will not be joining the other straw hats on their voyage, he is astonished. Yamato claims she has informed Luffy of her choice. Like Oden, she will first explore the Wano region before venturing to the coast.
Momonosuke is upset that he missed out on the opportunity to say farewell to Luffy and reflect on their time together after hearing Yamato remark that he had a conversation with him. He is upset with Luffy and questions whether or not Luffy has a soul. Leaving without saying goodbye makes no sense. Without adding his own voice, Kinemon confirms Momonosuke’s opinion that he is furious that Luffy and the others abandoned Wano.
Final Farewells in Tokage Harbor
Meanwhile, the ships are loaded and set to depart from Tokage Port, where Law informs Luffy that the next time they meet, they will be enemies. Chopper tries to tell Law farewell, but Law instructs him to shut up, which catches Chopper off guard. When Momonosuke finally comes, he changes back into human shape and rushes Luffy, clearly intending to punch him. Yamato welcomes everyone and explains that they have come to say their final farewells. Even Kinemon is readying a blade to strike at Luffy.
Momonosuke gives Luffy the evil eye before breaking down in tears, pleading with him not to abandon him. To shift a straw hat, all it takes is a few tears. Momonosuke and Franky both begin to cry, but Robin believes it’s unavoidable given his young age. Luffy says, “I know you’re a coward, but you’re my brother and the Shogun, so here, take the pirate flag.” Luffy continues by saying, “If an adversary appears in the future, then show them this flag and if they engage in a battle with you, then they get in a fight with us.” The flag is a representation of the Wano nation.
Luffy warns Momonosuke, Kinemon, and Yamato that he would hunt them down if they ever decide to take up piracy. As they leave Wano territory, the Straw Hats wave and disappear. Once back in the Flower Capital, the educator informs the class how Orochi met his end at the hands of the Denjiro on his way to assassinate the princess. Hiyori joins in the retelling as Komurasaki, and using her newly acquired Wano, she assures the Wano people that the Kurozumi’s curse would no longer have any effect on their land since the creature was destined to perish in flames. Momonosuke, Kinemon, and Yamato visit the Shougun castle, where they are warmly greeted by the locals.
As the next shogun of Wano, he is prepared to lead his subjects in safeguarding and expanding the region. Momonosuke is unsure about where to plant the flag at the chapter’s close. At the end of each chapter, the narrator states, “If time and circumstance permit, we shall meet these soldiers again. Wano’s climax had come to a close.
