[Updated] Spoilers for One Piece Episode 1030 Storyline, Leaks, Summaries & What to Expect

In Episode 1030 of “One Piece,” Luffy and Uta’s relationship is deepened through a series of competitions. Episode 1030’s official preview has premiered. Both Luffy and Uta fantasise about going on epic journeys by sea and by the mountain. Both encouraging and challenging each other strengthens the relationship between the two.

And in the meantime, Uta fantasises about starting over. Uta and Luffy promise to realise their tremendous goals in the trailer. But then an unforeseen event takes place. The impact of Shanks’ remarks on Luffy is illustrated by his emotional response, as seen by his tears.

After last week’s show, which we named “Lost in the Mists of Time! Uta, the Daughter of the Red-Haired Pirate, and Luffy! “The Straw Hat Pirates were listening to New Genesis while at sea, but for some reason, Jinbe didn’t know the tune. Usopp told him it was a hit, and Brook remarked that the song’s tune makes his heart race.

Uta, meanwhile, viewed the water from a cliff’s perspective. A flashback to when she was a youngster, when she first encountered Luffy, took her back 12 years. As he walked through Foosha Village, Luffy was spotted working on his boxing technique. The mayor admonished him for engaging in such juvenile pursuits and urged him to assist the locals instead.

Meanwhile, out at sea, young Uta was sailing with the Red Hair Pirates. Luffy and Uta and Shanks got together afterwards. She introduced herself to Luffy as a singer/actress/diva.
Uta wanted to show off her singing chops by performing “Where the Wind Blows” at the local tavern. Luffy was so taken by her voice that he immediately began singing the “Moron Song.”

Uta was taken aback, though, when she realised that Luffy’s singing was off pitch.
In Episode 1029, “A young Luffy who has been dreaming of getting out of Windmill Village one day to accomplish something great” meets “a young girl named Uta who came along with Shanks and the Red-Hair Pirates calling herself the musician of the pirate group,” according to the official synopsis on Crunchyroll.

“A Pledge for the New Genesis!,” from Episode 1030 of “One Piece.” Uta and Luffy! “airing this upcoming Saturday, according to the schedule. In the United States, the episode is available on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Apple TV, Netflix, and Tubi. The manga from which the anime is adapted was written by Eiichiro Oda.
