The Garou has gotten away!
In the following section, Tareo was lying on the floor when he heard a voice. The apparition of a Garou vanished before his eyes as he glanced up. Hearing commotion, he turned to see the hero hunter being mercilessly beaten by the onlookers. Metal Bat showed up and requested that they hold off on the pounding for the time being. That Saitama battled Garou, stripped down unexpectedly, and knocked him out with a single punch is a story that only Lightspeed Flash seems to recall. He recalled also having seen Blast. Zombieman then questioned Garou on how he attained such great strength while being a human.
The man wanted to know if God was responsible. However, Garou dismissed the proposal, claiming that the credit should go to him alone. The Tareo showed up right before they were ready to execute him. The youngster pleaded with King to come to his aid and save Garou. Bang pleaded with him to stay alive so that he might help as many people as he had injured. After the Metal Knight arrived to check out the radiation, the chapter drew to a close. Meanwhile. Saitama and Genos left for a while to search for their missing belongings in the flat.

Recap of One Punch Man Chapter 168
Chapter 169 of One Punch Man was titled “Daybreak.” At the beginning of this chapter, we find Garou lying on the floor, contemplating the equally powerful blow. However, not even Saitama could get his head around what had taken place. Just what was in his hands made him a question. Next, it was discovered that the core had followed Saitama through time and space. This allowed Genos to witness the chain of events that resulted in the current state of affairs.
When he finally pieced together what had happened, he explained everything to Saitama. He went on to elaborate on the nature of space, time, and dimensions. For fans, though, the bout will always be remembered for one thing: Saitama’s apparent restraint. There was just no way he could have allowed Garou to go unchecked for so long. However, Garou noticed that Saitama was not paying attention and could not recall any of the discussion.
