In spite of their success in driving back the Quagoan army, two Death Knights are killed by Yohz when he blows up the bridge. While this is going on, Ainz approaches the Dwarves Regency about forming a trading agreement and offers his protective services. Despite knowing that the Quagoa army is huge and that a Frost Dragon is in the area, he nevertheless offers to retake the Royal capital of Feo Berkana.
Ainz just asks that the Rune Smiths come back to his land as payment. After the council approves the plan, Ainz will visit with the Rune Smiths to reassure them that he is serious about reviving their profession. Gondo Smith, whose family has been involved in Rune Crafting for generations, is especially ecstatic to get the news. Ainz is approached by Gondo, who wants his help stealing a book on Rune Crafting from the Royal Library.
In exchange, he promises to show them around the Royal Capital as a tour guide. Following the killing of the knight, Ainz gave orders to Shalltear to devise a strategy in case their assailants returned. Even more so, he can’t wait to finally see the dragon in person.
