Spoilers indicate that the events of Mikey’s final flashback will be covered in Tokyo Revengers chapter 265. As was expected from the previous chapter’s cryptic hint, this one focuses heavily on Kisaki and Takemichi. This chapter focuses on Mikey’s interactions with these two significant figures.
Spoilers for Tokyo Revengers Chapter 265
The leaking of spoilers has been more chaotic than normal, but this article will do its best to piece together a story from the bits and pieces. In chapter 265 of Tokyo Revengers, we learn about Mikey and Kisaki’s initial encounter and their unexplored dialogue. As the narrative progresses, the Tomani 1st Generation captains sit together for a talk. Since Baji made an appearance, we may assume that this happened sometime after Takemichi was accepted into the gang but before Baji was diverted to Valhalla.
It appeared that the captains were having an argument; the topic of discussion appeared to be Kisaki’s acceptance into the gang. Spoilers suggest that the narrative then jumps to the conflict with Valhalla. From Mikey’s point of view, we see the events that followed Baji’s stabbing unfold. Mikey’s evil impulses are represented here by the tendrils of darkness that wrap themselves around the former president of the Toman Empire. Fans of the series are aware that Baji was the one to break Mikey out of his trance in the Valhalla arc.
Speculations
Mikey and Kisaki’s budding romance serves as a significant driving force for many of the series’ most dramatic events. Unfortunately, it was never shown to the same degree of depth that Mikey’s friendship with Takemichi was. Kisaki’s flashback was our only window of opportunity. Chapter 265 will hopefully reveal how Mikey really feels about Kisaki and how he got caught up in the evil mastermind’s schemes. Both the readers and the characters still feel the sting of the Valhalla arc. As Mikey has remembered every death from his youth, including Baji’s, it is only appropriate that he mentions it now.
If Mikey were to reveal his Dark Impulses as an adult, it would be the first time anybody has seen them from his perspective. Draken and Emma’s deaths would presumably be depicted in Tokyo Revengers chapter 265, given that it is a 26-page chapter and is likely the final flashback chapter. There’s also the matter of Mikey’s grief at Izana’s passing and how he remembers her. The official translation will likely shed light on these occurrences that were not included in the stolen scans.
