Recap of Episode 1028
Episode 1028 of One Piece began with Big Mom making a new Homie after being persuaded by Prometheus to pair him up. The new creature’s strength allowed Big Mom to propel Kid and Killer through Onigashima’s defences. Usopp, Nami, and Otama were doing their best to evade Page One as he chased them through the castle’s interior. Meanwhile, Kid and Killer were getting back on their feet after Big Mom’s attack.
After being stopped by the traitor Hawkins on their route to the Yonko, Killer decided to stay behind and deal with him instead of continuing on to the Yonko. All this time, Luffy, who had been knocked out by Kaido, was slowly coming to. Because of this terrifying encounter, Luffy was able to master his Advanced Conqueror Haki and successfully defend himself from Kaido’s assaults.
The Emperor Kaido was sent flying into a boulder as Luffy suddenly began fighting him with his new abilities. At the end of the episode, Luffy grins at his buddies and declares that he will win against Kaido no matter what.
One Piece Episode 1029 Expectations
The history of Luffy and Uta’s friendship, beginning with their first encounter as kids, will be the focus of One Piece Episode 1029. Even while it hasn’t been confirmed, this episode may potentially shed light on how Luffy and Shanks first met.
