Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind, the next Mortal Kombat animated movie from Warner Bros., will feature the origin story of Kenshi, the blind swordsman. As Kenshi rises to fight Kano, the next film will focus on how Kano intends on enslaving Earthrealm. He goes to Kuai Liang for help after a severe defeat against Kano and losing his eyesight. He wants to become a proper Earthrealm defender. The trailer begins with Kano’s invasion of Kenshi’s hamlet, where the villagers are made to bow before Kano as their new ruler. It’s no secret that Mortal Kombat is famed for its blood and gore, and he and a gang of recognisable characters, like Kabal and Shang Tsung, are quick to show it off.
This moment symbolises the beginning of Kenshi’s hero’s journey, as his spirit is crushed by Shang Tung’s manipulation of souls from within a well in his frantic search for a method to beat them and save the people. He seeks Kuai Liang’s aid after discovering an ancestral sword that can lead him even while he is blind. Liang, despite his reservations, accepts Kenshi as a student and appears to grow fonder of him as he shapes him into an Earthrealm defender. Fans of Mortal Kombat will recognise Kenshi from previous games, and his talents are on show in the second part of the clip.
First, he fights against the other Outworld soldiers and then confronts Kano. Kenshi shows off his skills with some stunning animation, but the finale reveals that it doesn’t always work out in his favour. Even though Kano’s troops have caught and imprisoned him, he remains unfazed. A quick glimpse of his rescuer, Sub-Zero, alias Kuai Lang, who comes out of retirement to save his pupil may be seen here. Top Gun and The Good Place There are a number of well-known actors and actresses lined up to join Manny Jacinto as the voice of Kenshi. They include David Wenham from Maverick as well as Ron Yuan from Maverick and Keith Silverstein from Courtenay Taylor.
It was directed by Rick Morales and written by Jeremy Adams, the writer of Scorpion’s Revenge and Battle of the Realms, the two previous Mortal Kombat animated features. A sequel to New Line Cinema’s Mortal Kombat 2021 live-action feature debuts in Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind. In July, it was announced that Simon McQuoid, along with Moon Knight writer Jeremy Slater, will return to the franchise’s helm. The animated feature should be a delightful diversion for fans while they wait for the full-length picture to be released. Later this year, Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind will be released.
