Recap of Episode 1027
In an earlier episode of One Piece, 1027, Big Mom contacted Zeus for assistance after she had fallen from Onigashima. Unfortunately, he was too busy attempting to get out of Kid’s box to be of much assistance to her. Both Kid and Law witnessed her tumble and chuckled at the thought that Big Mom’s end was imminent at the hands of the ocean. Finally, she made it to the water and began to drown.
Napoleon and Zoro tracked Prometheus when he tried to rescue Big Mom, but he was caught by Killer. At the same time, Kaidou, feeling sorry for Luffy, assaulted Zoro in an attempt to protect Big Mom from any further harm. However, Law came to his rescue and devised a counterattack, sending Kaidou scurrying for cover. Yet, it aided Prometheus in evading Killer and launching an assault on Napoleon. Two of the Homies were freed, and they proceeded with Prometheus to aid Big Mom. Kid, however, intervened and tried to prevent this. Unfortunately, his efforts were fruitless.
Friends stepped in to save her, and she was furious at Zeus for not coming to her aid. In subsequent comments, she made it clear that Zeus was no longer welcome in their home. The two of them were flying back to Onigashima when Prometheus asked Big Mom out on a date.
