Items from the Final Season of ‘Better Call Saul’ to Be Auctioned Off

Since there are just two more episodes left until the series finale, fans and collectors of the AMC Networks hit Better Call Saul now have a chance to acquire authentic artefacts from the programme. In August, Sony Pictures Television and Propstore will hold a charity auction of authentic Better Call Saul costumes, props, and set décor. Over 250 genuine pieces from Seasons 1-6 of the hit prequel series to Breaking Bad will be offered for bidding on the website of one of the largest film and TV memorabilia firms, Propstore, beginning August 18. The Assistance League of Albuquerque and the ABQ Mutual Aid will each get a part of the revenues from the Better Call Saul Auction.

Better Call Saul, created by Breaking Bad’s Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, chronicles the fictional lawyer’s life before he opens his strip-mall law practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as Saul Goodman. The series, starring Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill, is winding down, and in the penultimate episode, dubbed simply “Breaking Bad,” written and directed by Thomas Schnauz, we see the return of our favourite meth cooks. From August 18 to September 1, 2016, anybody in the world can take part in the Better Call Saul Auction by visiting propstore.com. The firm, started in 1998 by current CEO Stephen Lane, is giving away two Better Call Saul gift packs to random anyone who signs up for the auction.

Hector Salamanca’s (Mark Margolis) backup bell with a red elastic ribbon is expected to sell for $3,000 to $5,000 at the forthcoming auction, while Gus Fring’s (Giancarlo Esposito) Los Pollos Hermanos Restaurant costume and cell phone are expected to sell for $1,500 to $2,500. The auction also featured the personal items of such well-known figures as Marco Salamanca (Luis Moncada), Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), and Chuck McGill (Michael McKean). Some of the highlights of the forthcoming auction that fans and collectors may bid on, along with their expected sale values, are as follows:
Estimated $3,500 – $5,000 Hector Salamanca Spare Bell with Red Elastic Ribbon
Estimated $2-$3 for Jimmy McGill’s Law School hoodie at the University of American Samoa
Estimated $2,000-$3,000 for Saul Goodman’s “World’s Second Best Lawyer” Mug
A Pair of Marco Salamanca’s Skull-Tip Boots, Between $1,500 and $2,500
Davis & Main Water Bottle, Tie, and Headscarf from Saul Goodman, Estimated $1,500–$2,500
Price Range: $1,500 – $2,500 for Saul Goodman’s Money Bag Photo Suit
Price Range: $1,500 – $2,500 Jimmy Zafiro Anejo Tequila Bottle with Cork Stopper
Gus Fring’s Costume and Cell Phone from Los Pollos Hermanos, Estimated $1,500-$2,500
Parking Attendant Uniform (with Sign and Insulated Coffee Bottle) owned by Mike Ehrmantraut, Probable Cost $1000 – $1500
Products with the Los Pollos Hermanos logo, Estimated at $700.00–$900.00
Journal with Used Space Blanket from Charles (Chuck) McGill, Estimated $600–$800
Burner Phone with Saul Goodman’s “Press 1” Button, Approximately $600
According to Chuck Costas, VP of Business Development & Marketing at Propstore, the following might be expected from the next auction:
To paraphrase the show’s creators, “For six seasons now, we’ve observed the transformation of ‘Slippin’ Jimmy’ McGill into the smooth-talking cartel lawyer we originally encountered on Breaking Bad, Saul Goodman. Fan favourites like Gus Fring, Hector Salamanca, and Mike Ehrmantraut have been intricately woven into the series’ wonderful narrative, and the show has also brought us fantastic new characters like Kim Wexler, Chuck McGill, Howard Hamlin, Nacho Varga, and Lalo Salamanca. This auction is being hosted by Propstore, who are delighted to offer fans the chance to acquire an original piece of television history.
The season finale of Better Call Saul will premiere on AMC and AMC+ at 9 p.m. ET on Monday, August 15, following the airing of the series last episode on AMC and AMC+ the same night.
