Finally, spoilers for Black Clover’s Chapter 333 have been released as the issue nears its publishing date. The issue will be titled “The Saviour and the Flaw of the World” thanks to leaks on Twitter, notably @nite baron. Chapter 333 of Black Clover begins with a flashback of Lucius in the Spade kingdom, where he is reunited with his brothers and witnesses several shattered tablets, which are presumed to be in a temple. Fans now know what Yuki Tabata has in store for Lucius and Asta thanks to the well-known leaker @nite baron. Patri and William’s spirits were discovered to be in the same body as Julius and Lucius, who had long been hidden beneath Julius’s mask. As with Patri and William, they have an inner dialogue in which Lucius claims to have glimpsed the future and longs for global peace, while Julius is less enthusiastic about the concept. It’s little surprise that Lucius feels let down by Julius’ disapproval of his ambitions, given that Julius is, after all, his best friend. Lucius then discloses his true identity to Asta, claiming that the Wizard King, whom he respects and knows well, has died. It’s been a while since Lucius performed a strong time-freezing spell that only he and Asta can use while the rest of the world remains frozen in time. For the sake of his beliefs and “real serenity,” Lucius indicated that Julius was embarking on a journey of self-discovery and an understanding of negative emotions like anger and despair. Lucius now claims to have taken Lucifero in as well, and Asta becomes plainly befuddled and at a loss for words as a result.
On the heels of that, Lucius goes into detail about how he intends to wipe off the whole human race and repopulate it with the magic of his siblings. According to him, this will lead to a world where people no longer experience pain and treat one another with respect and equality. As the last Wizard King, he saw himself ruling over all of humanity. As Asta tries to make sense of what’s going on, Lucius remarks that he views Asta as “the defect in this universe,” given that he was born without the ability to use magic.
In response to Lucius’s tirade, Asta declares that his idol, the Wizard King, would not give up so easily and is not dead.
