Elisabeth Moss, an Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG, and PGA Award-winning performer, will feature in a new FX limited series called The Veil. Since the series was only ordered by FX to be streamed exclusively on Hulu, no release date has been announced for the series.
The Veil is a thriller series written and produced by Steven Knight, who also acts as the show’s executive producer.
As they travel from Istanbul to Paris and London in The Veil, a tense connection between the two women will be shown in the film. Many lives will be lost if one of the two ladies in the story does not come out with her secret. One of the main characters in the show will be played by Elisabeth Moss. In addition to her roles in The Handmaid’s Tale and Mad Men, she is also a producer and an actor.
There will be multiple episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 that she will be directing. Nick Grad, FX’s President of Original Programming, made the announcement for The Veil. By way of Grad’s comment, “we’re happy to have Elisabeth Moss join the cast of The Veil and excited to continue our work with Steven Knight.” “Steven’s screenplays are engrossing,” he said, “and no doubt will display Elisabeth’s remarkable skill.” He concluded.
Steven Knight also issued a comment on the matter, “I’m overjoyed to be telling this narrative, which is at once transnational in scope and utterly current,” Knight remarked. We’ve gotten together some of the most skilled people in the industry,” he concluded. It’s always a delight to work with Denise Di Novi, and I’ve wanted to work with Elisabeth Moss for as long as I can remember. Of course, I’ve known FX for a long time. “I believe this will be a significant television event,” he said. ”
In fact, this isn’t Knight’s first time working with FX. Taboo and A Christmas Carol were the first two films of the alliance. Great Expectations, which will star Olivia Coleman as Miss Havisham in the lead role, is now in the works with him. The limited series has yet to have a release date announced. Seasons one through four of The Handmaid’s Tale are now available on Hulu.
