It’s time to get ready for the upcoming season of the Prime Video superhero series, The Boys, as more cast members are added to the already crowded group. Valorie Curry and Susan Heyward have been added to the cast, while Cameron Crovetti is promoted to a series regular for the upcoming season. The series will continue to follow the exploits of superheroes who utilise their talents for personal gain while presenting a pleasant front to the rest of society. People who love The Boys will recognise Crovetti as the super-powered son of Homelander (Anthony Starr), who was born in a squalid hospital under terrible conditions.
After his father pushed him to the edge, Ryan was able to prove that he was just as powerful as The Seven’s commander, Seven. Cult film Goodnight Mommy remake is also in the works, and Crovetti has starred in the HBO series Big Little Lies. Recently, Curry appeared in Peacock’s The Lost Symbol, as well as another Prime Video superhero series, The Tick. The actor appeared in programmes like The Following, House of Lies, and Veronica Mars, among others.
Besides American Pastoral and The Blair Witch Project, she also acted alongside Ewan McGregor and Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning in the sequel to The Blair Witch Project. Fircracker, a superheroine in The Boys, will be her on-screen alter ego. Heyward rose to prominence on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, where she played Tamika. Aside from her roles in OWN’s Delilah and The Following, she’s been in Vinyl, Powers, and most recently, Vinyl.
She appeared in Poltergeist, The Light of the Moon, and Radium Girls on the big screen. “Sister Sage” was the name of her role in The Boys. Season 4 of The Boys is yet to begin filming. Gen V, a spin-off story for young adults based on super-heroes who attend a college managed by Vought, is the latest addition to The Boys world, which is moving quickly. When superheroes in the world of The Boys are newborns, they are injected with a chemical called Compound V, which grants them superpowers. The Boys Season 4 and Gen V release dates have yet to be announced by Prime Video.
