At the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel was packed with new information. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige just announced the completion of Phase 4 of the MCU, as well as an exciting new slate of projects. Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will begin in 2023 with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, according to Feige at the conference. Phase 5 of the MCU, which includes Ant-Man 3 and Phases 4 and 6, was officially unveiled at SDCC as “The Multiverse Saga” with “Phase 1” being Ant-Man 3. On July 23, the first trailer for the third part of Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) was shown to guests of Hall H at the Comic-Con International in San Diego. An autobiography tour for Scott Lang’s “Look Out for the Little Guy” follows the events of Avengers: Endgame in the Quantum Mania trailer.
Lang’s life at home isn’t exactly as spectacular as he’d want the world to believe, despite the adoration he receives from his admirers. Cassie Lang, played by Kathryn Newton in her MCU debut, appears to be experiencing academic and legal issues, much like her father. Hope Van Dyne’s parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), are also putting a strain on Lang’s bond with Hope (Michelle Pfeiffer). Lang’s sojourn in the Quantum Realm during the Snap and his subsequent return to a transformed planet will be explored in Quantumania. For both Lang and Cassie, the loss of five years of his daughter’s existence has taken its toll.
Quantumania will find Lang struggling with his Ant-Man responsibilities as well as his obligations to Cassie, Hope, and his family. Sadly, Scott hears Kang the Conqueror’s (Jonathan Majors) voice remarking that, in the trailer “Scott Lang, you’re a fascinating individual. A lot of time has gone by, but time, it’s not what you believe it is. Not a straight line at all!” Even though Scott does all in his power to avoid Cassie from being sucked back into the Quantum Realm, an experiment in Pym’s lab sends the gang careening back there. Most of the film will take place in the dimension, where they will battle Quantum monsters, meet Bill Murray and deal with some of the tension that has been building up amongst them all. Kang’s voice reappears at this point in the video, saying, “It’s possible to see everything when you have the ability to see time in the same manner that I do.
All that you’re clinging to, all that you think of as your life, I already know how it will end.” While standing before Scott Lang, Kang makes his debut appearance in an MCU feature film and announces himself an Avenger. Kang responds calmly with these words: “You’re an Avenger, right? In the past, have I ever slain you?” Prior to May 5th and July 28th in 2023, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 and Captain Marvel: The Marvels will be released in theatres, respectively. See the official synopsis for Quantumania and the teaser for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the last MCU Phase 4 series to be released on Disney+ on August 17:: Reunited superheroes Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne are back as Ant-Man and The Wasp for the third time. While exploring the quantum realm with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Janet Van Dyne (Michael Douglas), the family encounters a variety of bizarre new animals and embarks on a journey that will push them beyond their preconceptions.
