Recap Boruto Episode 258 began with the Uzumaki family checking into their weekend getaway at the Inn, where they’d been staying. A number of wooden figures drew Boruto and Kawaki’s attention to the room. The brothers, on the other hand, awoke the battle spirit in them just by gazing at them. Boruto urged the family to join him for a game of ping pong as soon as they entered their new room.
In order to defeat Boruto and Kawaki, the two Narutos joined up with Hinata, who served as a referee to keep the two brothers from fighting each other. After supper, everyone in the family had a soak in the hot springs at the Inn. To determine who could manage the heat better, Boruto and Kawaki decided to take a dip in the hot tub, only to emerge at the same moment after a lengthy period. Then Boruto asked them to participate in the Inn’s stamp search, which they happily accepted. Each stamp was placed near a spooky object with a scare-inducing gimmick. None of them realised that the warrior’s spirit was always there. As a reward for successfully completing the stamp quest, the family was presented with a commemorative picture. The boys were frightened beyond belief when they saw the warrior’s soul lurking behind them in the photo.
To begin Boruto Episode 259, a criminal has been assaulting retiring Shinobi, and Team 7 is on a quest to apprehend him. As strange as it may seem, the attackers leave their victims with merely a large X on their clothing after these attacks. Another victim is attacked while they are still waiting for the culprit. The case is delivered to the local police station, where Team 7 meets with detectives to discuss the details. It is discovered that the assailant is only interested in ex-ninjas who are skilled in wind-style Jutsu techniques. It is requested of them that they continue with their nightly patrol, to which they consent. Boruto and Sarada both grumbled about their lack of sleep after being allowed out of the station. When Mitsuki sees an elderly woman holding a cat that looks somewhat like his, he becomes sidetracked. It is revealed that Mikazuki the cat has been missing since they arrived in Kirigakure. Reassurance from his buddies and some shut-eye later, he’s ready to face the world again. Mitsuki, on the other hand, refuses to return home and instead enters a store to inquire about his missing cat. Despite the fact that he has no clue where the cat is, the man tells Mitsuki that he would notify him if he finds the animal. The store owner helps an elderly woman who is trying to handle a large package while shopping.
After a long absence, Mikazuki reappears in Boruto Episode 259! Later the same day, Mitsuki arrives at a park while searching for his missing cat. His ears pick up the sound of a flute being played, and he turns to see a young woman holding the instrument. Mikazuki appears in front of Mitsuki as a result of her song’s acoustic escalation. Niboshi, the cat, catches the girl’s eye and she gets delighted, calling him by his Japanese name. Her reluctance to accept that Mikazuki is her cat’s genuine name is evident when Mitsuki approaches her and explains that Mikazuki is the real name of the animal. Mikazuki goes to Orochimaru’s kid when he calls him, confirming that he is definitely Mitsuki’s feline friend. Initially shocked, the young woman quickly comes to terms with the reality and admits that she has been caring for the cat all along. Mitsuki expresses his gratitude to Mikazuki for her assistance and informs her that he is free to continue seeing her whenever she desires. It’s a year since she went to Konoha, and the girl is envious of the animal’s freedom.
Her brother has relied on her assistance ever since, thus she is denied any sort of freedom. While heading home, they came into her older brother, who introduced himself to them. When Mitsuki’s brother turns against her, she chooses to leave the kitten with the girl so that she won’t have to deal with his wrath at home. The girl’s brother urges her not to make friends with a ninja. In Boruto Episode 259, Team 7 is shown gathering on a rooftop at night in another location. The sound of another victim’s scream informs them of their whereabouts while they wait. Two crooks wearing masks are identified as the offenders. Mitsuki is able to injure one of them while pursuing them with his Kunai. When Mitsuki gets to the cart that the girl’s elder brother was toting earlier that day, he sees a drop of blood on the floor and stops to investigate. In order to keep his squad from finding out that the siblings are the true criminals, he decides to keep this knowledge from them.
We see the girl and her brother, who came to their home to care for her wounds, on the screen now. To her brother’s dismay, she inquires as to whether it would be best for them to quit. It has been a long time since they have gone from town to village in search of their goal, as her brother points out to her. Once the final person is attacked, he will be able to restore normalcy to her life. Ex-wind-style Shinobi are flocking to the police station since they haven’t located the criminals yet. The chief of police is in the building, and Team 7 tells him about the events of the previous night. There is a smokey odour coming from the victim’s clothing, which might be a gas used by the crooks to knock them unconscious. At the beginning of Boruto Episode 259, Mitsuki entered the same store as we are now. He’s having a conversation with an elderly gentleman who asks whether he’s scared, given that he used to be a Shinobi.
The owner of the shop assures him that he mainly works in the office, but he appears worried after the client departs because of the newspaper’s coverage of the issue. Mikazuki is scratching a flowerpot in front of his business when a guy walks out to take away the garbage and tosses a rock near the animal, exposing his sinister side. When Mitsuki sees Samidare, the criminal who befriended Mikazuki in the same episode of Boruto as Samidare, he gets a flashback. Boruto Episode 259 shows the girl returning to the same park later that night. Upon learning of her identity, Mitsuki inquires about the next victim. They’re hunting for the thief who killed their father, the daughter admits. Since then, they’ve tried to get aid from the police, but they’ve been turned down because they lack proof. The punishment for only knocking out a former Shinobi would be minor, according to Mitsuki, who begs her to give herself in. For the sake of his cat, Mitsuki gave her away once, but he will not do it again.
Team 7 is back in action in Boruto Episode 259 as they sit on a roof, waiting for the bad guys to show up. There is a civilian who may be the next target that the head of police tells them about. Mitsuki’s sister who tried to put him to sleep assaulted a cashier outside the business Mitsuki visited earlier. The smoke didn’t bother him because he’d anticipated them. Once again, Team 7 is reunited with the head of police, who reveals to them the identity of the clerk: Daizen. Many various crimes have been done by wind-style users in the past, and he has been a witness to them. Despite the fact that Team 7 is running toward the scene of the crime, the siblings are still trying to show that the clerk is responsible for their father’s death. As he torments the children with wind-style Jutsus, the suspect laughs gleefully, knowing that he will get away with it.
Mitsuki arrives to save the girl and her brother before he can kill them. The head of police must inspect the store clerk for a scar, the girl screams. Though Mikazuki, who happened to be there, indicated that the guy was concealing his scar when he lifted his shirt, no scar was seen when he did so. Even though the clerk makes an attempt to flee, he is quickly subdued by Mitsuki’s Jutsu and rendered uselessly. New friends Mitsuki made in Boruto Episode 259 were expelled the next day and Mitsuki had to say goodbye to them. Fans of Boruto have been gushing about how much they appreciated episode 259 on Twitter. Both Mitsuki and Mikazuki were thrilled to receive the attention they deserved, especially the cute cat. During this episode, Mikazuki was so adorable that fans couldn’t stop raving about her. He’s definitely more popular than his owner on the site right now.
Fans, on the other hand, were delighted to see Mitsuki and his cat again. In Episode 259 of Boruto, their time together was one of the most heartwarming. Still, Mitsuki’s tremendous display of might in Boruto Episode 259 cannot be overlooked. Mitsuki is still one of Konoha’s most brilliant Genin, even if we forget about it from time to time. In addition, the references to Episode 155 were a great touch. Mitsuki’s determination to help the siblings was explained by this. Samidare, the last criminal Mikazuki befriended was his primary concern. Fans are also celebrating the publication of a Mitsuki episode on a day that is very meaningful to them.
Fans haven’t spent any time wishing him a happy birthday, as it’s his birthday today. Overall, Episode 259 of Boruto was a fun episode with a well-developed narrative that the authors had a good handle on. In comparison to other filler episodes from the franchise, this one didn’t feel like it was going on forever. It’s not the best episode we’ve seen recently, but it’s still excellent enough for fans to be satisfied. Additionally, the secondary characters were exceptionally well-rounded. We were given enough knowledge about their intentions to care about them, yet they didn’t detract from Mitsuki’s limelight. Boruto and Kakashi will be the stars of the upcoming episode. Boruto is on a mission to discover a mystery behind the walls of Konoha, while Kakashi prefers to take a break. Fans are eagerly awaiting the next instalment, even though there isn’t a lot of information out there about what will happen.
