At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Smith made an appearance in Hall H and shared some new information regarding Masters of the Universe: Revolution. William Shatner himself has joined the cast, however, Smith was mum about the character he’ll be portraying. We needed a man to go into space for that same reason. If you’re interested in the plot, then be ready for something exciting, thrilling, and heartwarming. Other famous characters, including He-Man and Hordak, will make appearances, and He-Man will appear in every episode this season.
Last year’s Revelation was followed by Masters of the Universe: Revolution, which Netflix announced back in June during Geeked Week. According to the streamer’s announcement tweet, “He-Man and Skeletor square fight in a new series that begins up where Masters of the Universe: Revelation left off,”
Kevin Smith, Ted Biaselli, Rob David, Frederic Soulie, and Christopher Keenan will serve as executive producers. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Revelation is a spiritual sequel that was released in two parts in 2021. When asked about the show’s Easter eggs, Smith told SFX Magazine, “I love it when Marvel movies throw in an Easter egg where I am like, ‘Holy crap, I knew that that’s from the books.'” “Marvel and their approach to the Marvel Cinematic Universe were our compasses, dude. That’s where I got my ideas and the authors got theirs from. Our reaction is to say, “Let’s copy them.”
