The initiation of a new battle in the Land of Wano is revealed in the first scan of One Piece Chapter 1054. To put an end to Luffy’s rampage and bring order to the outer world, Aramaki, a.k.a. Greenbull, arrives in the country in Chapter 1053. The Red Scabbards will take on this formidable new foe in order to keep him from creating havoc during the festivities. Plants sprout out everywhere around Aramaki as he goes, confirming the recent discovery that his logia-type Devil Fruit is real. He can control and construct whatever sort of plant he wants with Aramaki’s fruit. He can even turn into a big tree monster because of this talent. Using this capability while battling the samurai has been proven in scan images.
Yamato, despite her immense strength, will be able to injure the Admiral as soon as she joins the fray, as seen by the scans. Despite Marine’s enormous size, she was able to bring him crashing to the ground. For their part, Yamato and Scabbards will unite against Greenbull to keep him out of the flower capital. Another element that had been mentioned in the leaked report was Yamato’s rage and screams at the Admiral. He’s also shown reading a newspaper while holding up a poster of Luffy’s new wanted status in his hands. This new wanted poster shows the Straw Hat captain in his Gear Five form, which was introduced in the last chapter. Shanks feels pleased with Luffy’s achievements in recent years as he reads this. Another scan shows his group gathered around a table, eating and discussing excitedly the news. As stated in the synopsis, Yasopp is upset over the prospect of seeing Usopp again.
Benn Beckman and Shanks were sipping sake when the last scan of Shanks captured his sombre and introspective demeanour. Shanks’ desire to join the One Piece cause was disclosed only the other day, but what he meant by those remarks remains a mystery. After Shanks’ statements, Benn doesn’t appear to be happy, but the scans uncover nothing else. One Piece Chapter 1054’s next few scans include several of the Marine Admirals discussing the recent occurrences. Kurouma, or Black Horse, appears for the first time. Despite his advanced years, he still sports the traditional Marine Admiral’s cloak and glossy black hair. The actor Riki Takeuchi has been compared to him by some fans, which is not surprising given that Oda has modelled several of his Admirals after real-life counterparts.
In his position as commanding officer of the Naval Investigations Division, he is aware of all that is going on throughout the globe. Luffy & the Revolutionary Army are causing a lot of havoc, as he discusses with Akainu and Kizaru later on. On the table between the Admirals, there is a newspaper containing details about how Sabo allegedly murdered King Cobra. Although we have no proof that Sabo is to blame, the Admirals are certain that he is. In a second scan, Sabo’s photo is shown in front of a throng that is motivated by his activities. According to a leaked report, the Revolutionary Army is gaining supporters, and this scan appears to support this. One Piece Chapter 1054’s last scan shows Akainu announcing his intention to put an end to everyone trying to change the status quo.
Akainu may be the new Fleet Admiral for the Marines, as mentioned in the leaked synopsis, however, the scans do not support this. There is little doubt that One Piece Chapter 1054 will play a significant role in setting up the events of this last adventure. World opinion has turned against the old regime and is motivated by Luffy’s group’s deeds. Akainu hinted at this in one of the scans, and it’s clear that there would be consequences. But more and more individuals, like Yamato and the Scabbards, who aren’t scared to take on an Admiral for the sake of their friends, are joining the struggle against the World Government.
