Sneak Peek at ‘Harley Quinn’ Season 3 Shows Harley and Ivy Falling in Love and Causing Chaos: Synopsis, Cast & Release Date

During the San Diego Comic-Con, the animated series Harley Quinn from DC provided a humorous sneak peek at Season 3. Poison Ivy tells Harley, “Harley and Ivy take over the f***ing world,” as the two explore their newfound romance. Finally, the short shows a series of misadventures as the pair tries to get Commissioner Gordon to hand over his credit card information so they may go on vacation. “And tell Ben Affleck I upper-decked his expensive SodaStream!!” Harley yells as he smashes the photographers and throws them into the water. In contrast to the previous trailer’s confirmation of James Gunn’s role in the animated film, the inclusion of Ben Affleck’s name in the series is unexpected. As a refresher, Affleck played Batman in two DC films and had a cameo in the first Suicide Squad, where Margot Robbie portrayed Quinn when Affleck appeared as Bruce Wayne.

It’s hard to imagine what else the rest of the series has in store for us. As the new power couple in Gotham, Ivy and Quinn’s romance is brought to the fore in the new season of Harley Quinn. Just as in the previous season, Harley and Ivy have eloped and the Joker has returned to his old tricks. Alan Tudyk and Lake Bell play Poison Ivy and The Joker, respectively, while Tony Hale plays Doctor Psycho, Ron Funches plays King Shark, Jason Alexander plays Sy Borgman, and J.B. Smoove plays Frank the Plant in Season 3.

James Adomian plays Bane in Season 3. Diedrich Bader as Batman, Chris Meloni as Commissioner Gordon, Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman, Briana Cuoco as Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl, and Harvey Guillén as Nightwing all appear as special guests this season. Season 3 of Harley Quinn premieres July 28 on HBO Max.

The following is the official summary:
Season three of this scathing and raucous adult animated comedy continues the mayhem and lunacy. The new power couple of DC villainy, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are back in Gotham after their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour.” Ivy’s long-sought goal to convert Gotham into an Eden-like utopia is being pursued by “Harlivy” and her motley team of King Shark Clayface and Frank the Plant.
