Everyone who likes the macabre should pay attention! Fright Night, the legendary horror film from 1985, is now available in 4K Ultra HD thanks to a special Steelbook edition. The Steelbook, which will be released on October 4th, will have “almost fourteen hours of bonus content” for fans of the iconic vampire picture. A seventeen-year-old horror aficionado (William Ragsdale) finds that his new neighbour Jerry (Chris Sarandon) is actually a vampire and is responsible for multiple disappearances throughout the town in “Fright Night,” which follows Charley (William Ragsdale).
The only way Charley can stop Jerry for good is with the help of his girlfriend and a former movie star recognised for his role as a vampire hunter. Fright Night also features Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, and Roddy McDowall in addition to Ragsdale and Sarandon. Also, this was Tom Holland’s directorial debut, both as a writer and as a director. Child’s Play, which he wrote and directed, would go on to become another horror classic. Fright Night fans can look forward to nearly fourteen hours of fresh material in this upcoming re-release.
Multiple audio commentaries, prior panels analysing the film, deleted sequences, and more may be found in the supplementary material section. In addition, there will be a cast reunion table read of the film, which will involve some unexpected guest stars.
