The movie, “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime,” has announced the date of its formal release, after the March announcement of the film’s forthcoming release. The news regarding the official release date was made through the official Twitter account for the anime. There, the November release date of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds in Japan was revealed, along with a new key image and the exhaustive list of theatres that would be showing the film.
When compared to the previous graphic, the new one has a far larger cast of characters. In addition to focusing extensively on the new character Hiiro, this new graphic also showcases the other important characters from Slime Isekai, such as Rimuru Tempest, Benimaru, Souei, and Shion, Shuna, Hakurou, and Diablo.
Additionally, what appears to be a brand-new character can be seen at the top of the image. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds is the first anime movie adaptation of the Slime Isekai series. The original title of the film is Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna. The main character of the film, Rimuru Tempest, becomes embroiled in a plot that involves the Queen of Raja at some point over the course of the story.
During the course of this quest, Rimuru and his companions meet Hiiro, a member of the Ogre race who managed to avoid extinction. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is the name of an anime series that was created by Eight Bit and is based on a light novel series written by Fuse with the same name. Before being picked up by Micro Magazine in 2014, the work was first published online as a web novel series.
Since that time, the light novel series has been ongoing all the way up until the current day, and it has been adapted into manga, along with other manga that is spin-offs from it. Regarding the Slime Isekai anime, it premiered with the first season consisting of two cour, which were shown between October 2018 and March 2019.
After this, a second season with a split-cour format was produced and shown throughout the winter and summer seasons of 2021 respectively. On November 25, 2022, the Japanese theatrical release of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds is scheduled to take place. Beginning in 2023, the motion picture will be shown in theatres all around the world.
