For fans of The Handmaid’s Tale, this is a very auspicious day. The first teaser for the show’s fifth season has been released on Hulu. The trailer reveals that Elisabeth Moss’ June’s battle is far from ended in the first place. As the trailer shows, the stakes in Gilead have been raised to an all-time high, bringing viewers right back into the dystopian society. Summer is shown washing her hands in the aftermath of the murder of Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes), showing that she wants Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) to know exactly who is responsible for his killing.
The next scene shows Serena mourning her loss, but those who have watched the show regularly know that nothing about Serena is as it looks on the surface. Gilead isn’t done with June just yet, according to her narration in the film. Although June (O-T Fagbenle) is adamant about forgetting Serena, Luke However, the spotlight on Fred’s death will make it difficult for her. Mark Tuello (Sam Jaeger) stresses the dangerous scenario June now confronts in the title cards as anxiety rises. An explosive conclusion is provided by June’s voiceover, “Let’s fight,” at the end of the trailer. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 follows June as she deals with the ramifications of executing Commander Waterford at the end of the previous season and tries to find a new purpose in life.

Christine Ko joins the cast as a recurring character in the upcoming season.
Author and executive producer Bruce Miller joins Moss, Warren Littlefield and Daniel Wilson in bringing the show to life.
