New Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Ghost Island teaser from Nickelodeon! Based on the ’90s kids’ cult favourite, this is the third part of the renowned horror anthology miniseries. The new Midnight Society members and the horrors that await them on their holiday are shown to fans in the new teaser. When a child wonders, “Why do they name it the ghost island?” the trailer establishes the show’s central concept. Because of room 13, “Every visitor who has checked in was never checked out,” he receives a speedy response as views of guests that stayed in the room are shown.
New members of Midnight Society are shown in the trailer unearthing the hotel’s many ghoulish mysteries. Luca Padovan (You, School of Rock the Broadway Musical), Telci Huynh (Modern Love, Drama Club), Conor Sherry, and Chance Hurstfield (Head of the Class) make up the new Midnight Society, which also includes Kayla, played by Telci Huynh, and Max, played by Conor Sherry (A Million Little Things, Good Boys). Stanley Crane, the manager of the island resort, is likewise played by Julian Curtis in the series. ACE founder Matt Kaplan and Chris Foss, as well as JT Billings, serve as executive producers and showrunners. While Dean Israelite (Power Rangers, Project Almanac) acts as executive producer and director for the series, Paul Kim serves as co-executive producer.
Are You Afraid of the Dark?, produced by D.J. MacHale and Ned Kandel, was one of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows for children. At the moment, they’re also functioning as co-executive producers. It was resurrected for the first time in 1999 and broadcast for the second time in October 2019 as a limited series. However, Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows, Season 2 was quickly greenlit and will premiere in 2021. This is the 3rd book in the series, & it’s called Ghost Island. Are You Afraid of the Dark? : Ghost Island, produced by ACE Entertainment, will premiere on Nickelodeon on Saturday, July 30 with a two-hour episode, followed by one each on August 6 and 13.
