You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! Netflix adapts it for the streaming service: Release Date, Cast & More

You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!, a YA novel by Fiona Rosenbloom, is being made into a Netflix series. To save her Bat Mitzvah plans from falling apart and ruining one of the most significant days of her life is the focus of this video. A young Jewish girl named Stacy Friedman is eagerly anticipating her Bat Mitzvah, a Jewish religious ceremony that commemorates a girl’s thirteenth birthday. Rosenbloom’s coming-of-age story chronicles her excitement for her Bat Mitzvah. The celebration marks the beginning of adolescence and provides a chance for tweens and preteens to let their hair down & have a nice time with their closest friends.

As a result, when things spiral out of hand, Stacy fears for the future. Stacy watches her best friend, Lydia, kissing her crush, and the tragedy begins. Stacy uninvites Lydia from her Bat Mitzvah because of the occurrence, which is the inspiration for the novel and the film. Stacy speaks with Rabbi Sherwin, who instructs the girl to complete three good actions prior to the Bat Mitzvah party. Thus, the story follows Stacy as she tries to follow the Rabbi’s advice, deals with difficulties, and values the people who are actually important in her life. In other words, You’re Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!! is a lighthearted, uplifting tale that will be a wonderful addition to Netflix’s ever-expanding library.

You’re Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah at All! has Sammi Cohen (Crush) in the director’s seat, with a story by Alison Peck (Work It). Adam Sandler & Tim Herlihy for Happy Madison; & Leslie Morgenstein & Elysa Koplovitz Dutton for Alloy Entertainment are producing the film adaptation. Happy Madison’s Barry Bernardi, Judit Maull, and Kevin Grady are the film’s executive producers.
The adaptation has no official release date.
