Over the past year, the American Story series has given us a few good shocks. In 2011, we first saw the Harmons on American Horror Story in Murder House. The imaginary horror realm has been scaring us for eleven years and 10 seasons now. Besides American Crime Story, American Story also introduced us to its true crime world with American Crime Story, which produced The People v. O.J. Simpson (2016), The Assassination of Gianni Versace (2018), and Impeachment (2021). In the same way that each season of American Horror Narrative focuses on a different horror story, so does each season of American Crime Story.

In addition to several Emmys, Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and Saturn Awards, the American Story franchise has gained considerable critical praise. This time, though, each episode is a unique horror narrative that delves into a new myth, legend, or piece of lore associated with horror. There were 7 episodes in the 1st season, with some connecting back to the first season of American Horror Story’s Murder House.

In other episodes, we learned about a forbidden film that drives viewers to commit suicide, a murderous Santa, a lady who will do everything to get pregnant, and a horror camping trip. Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, creators of American Horror Story, produced American Horror Stories. Executive producers Alexis Martin Woodall, Loni Peristere, John J. Gray, and Manny Coto join Murphy and Falchuk in this role. Sierra McCormick, Gavin Creel, Kaia Gerber, Aaron Tveit, & Madison Bailey feature in American Horror Stories. Original cast members such as Matt Bomer and Naomi Grossman are among those who participate in the spinoff as well as Dylan McDermott and Billie Lourd. Jamie Brewer, Chad James Buchanan, and Cody Fern are also included.
