A New Orleans hospital is shown in the series, which is based on real events that occurred during Hurricane Katrina’s effects and aftermath in August 2005.
One month before the show’s launch, we get a sneak peek at the terrifying events that unfolded within New Orleans Memorial Hospital and how its staff was tested to the breaking point, resulting in death, damage, and unending pain for the victims’ families and loved ones. Life & death choices are made on a daily basis by members of the hospital’s personnel when things go awry. After the incident, several of the deaths at the hospital are questioned, and the story will follow these individuals then as well.
The structure of Memorial Hospital, both its employees and the building itself, will be put to the test in wake of Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans’ oppressive heat and power outage. Cherry Jones, Cornelius Smith Jr., and Vera Farmiga all-stars in the series. Additionally, Robert Pine, Julie Ann Emery, Adepero Oduye, Molly Hager, Michael Gaston, and W. Earl Brown make up the cast of the series
